About this property

Letting my lovely home, very close to Madrid Rio park

Welcome to my home! This is not your usual holiday rental -I live here and I only let it from time to time, usually when I'm away :)

Sleeps 4 (1 double bed, 1 convertible couch in the living room. I also have a small mattress in the office room).
Overlooking a leafy square, it's a comfortable and quiet place, 10 min on foot from Madrid Rio park. City centre is 20 min by metro/bus, or a 40 min walk away. Both metro and bus are frequent and available at a 5-7 min walk from the building.

All mod cons, good broadband, and great balcony. Shops and amenities available in the neighbourhood.

Important: for security reasons, I request a scanned copy of guests IDs (watermark is fine, and you'll receive a copy of my ID too). Also, please note that the damage deposit will be charged if anything major is broken, furniture is removed or relocated, or personal property is tampered with.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Leave the keys inside my mailbox (ground floor)
Please wash any dirty dishes before leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
I request proof of ID (photo) of each guest. This is for security reasons and can be watermarked. I eliminate any copies right after checkout.
Don't rearrange the place. If any item/furniture is found in a different as originally, the damage fee will apply. Same if I find any item is missing.
It is strictly forbidden to invite anyone else into the house. Please keep my place clean and tidy it, just as you found it. Thank you!

The apartment is very clean and you feel like you are in your own home. Marta is very friendly and you can communicate with her at any time. We would definitely recommend it.

The host was very personable, friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was not clean and there was no oven…more of a toaster oven. It did have a washing machine which was great…instructions in English and other languages is necessary for guests. The apartment was a generous size and the wrap-around balcony was a bonus…nice to sit out with a drink. The furniture and bed were comfortable and the full sized dining table was also nice to have. The bathroom was a big negative for us…no where to place toiletries and the shower was much to small for people 5’10” - 6’ .

I never received such feedback re the kitchen, so it'd be helpful to know what exactly you found unclean so that I can pay extra attention to it next time. As for the shower, true - it is a narrow space. Hopefully the photos reflect so, so that any future guest can make an informed decision. All the best.

Great accommodation in Madrid!

Marta's apartment was in a good location - looking at the map, it may seem far from the city center, but in fact it has very good transport connections and you can quickly get to most attractions by metro. Grocery store just across the street. The apartment is bigger than it seems from the pictures and in good condition. The apartment has everything you need for both a short and a long stay. In addition to a comfortable bed, there is also a nice living room with a longer table for eating. Marta herself is a very good communicator, and we always received quick and comprehensive answers to all questions. We are definitely ready to stay in Marta's apartment again when we are in Madrid again, and we recommend it to everyone else.

Finde con amigos en Madrid

El apartamento estaba limpio, cuidado , con aire acondicionado y el sofá cama super cómodo y toda la casa estaba muy bien. La propietaria nos recibió, nos explicó todo y fue súper amable, nos dejó algunas cosillas de comida para el desayuno y el día de salida no nos puso hora con lo que no íbamos con prisa. Totalmente recomendable si pasáis unos días en Madrid. Bien comunicado por metro y cerca de Madrid río. Gracias Marta por tu amabilidad y simpatía.

Bij onze zoon op bezoek

We hebben met 4 personen 4 dgn en 3 nachten verbleven in het huis van Marta. We hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad. Leuk net huis. Fijn balkon. Qua afstand centrum van Madrid ook goed te doen. Verschillende buslijnen in de buurt en metro ook. De Dia zit aan de overkant, erg fijn om 's morgens broodjes voor het ontbijt te halen.
