Casa Sienna is a small rural house recently renovated, which is recommended for walkers, sports enthusiasts and anyone who wants to stay away from urban centres.
The house has a floor area of 46 m2 and includes a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a small living room and a kitchen with a dining table. The bedroom has access to the attic where it is possible to place an extra bed for children.
Outside, there is a backyard with a barbecue, a guest bathroom, shower and a small swimming pool about 3 meters in diameter, which overlooks the valley and the sea.
The house is equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, television with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The house is located in a rural area 5 minutes by car from Calheta beach, at an altitude of 250 meters.
It is approximately 1.5 km walk from the village of Calheta, 1.6 km from the sandy beach and 2.1 km from the marina.
Near the beach and marina there are several restaurants, cafes and a Pingo Doce supermarket.
Access from the main road to the house is via 140 meters of practically flat path with concrete pavement and a small staircase next to the house.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers.
For walkers and mountain bikers, there are recommended hiking trails and mountain bike trails a few kilometres away, particularly in Paul da Serra.
REMARKS
We are available to provide support during your stay, to recommend places and activities you may like and to find solutions for your needs. We can recommend activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits.
The accommodation does not have car access and it is necessary to walk 140 meters on a path from the main road to the accommodation.
Parking is possible on the public road next to the entrance to the path leading to the accommodation or on the side of a nearby road.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. To increase the frequency, an additional cleaning service must be requested.
As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects in the surroundings that can be attracted by food scraps.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaints book controlled by local authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
