Very clean 2 bedroom upper floor location that was close to many of the major attractions and Alessandro was fantastic at helping us navigate Rome.

Awesome place, great location, wonderful host. It’s 89 steps up to the unit, so you need to be mobile, it is good to work off all the pizza, pasta and gelato!
Great location, clean, comfortable bed. Somewhat noisy street at night. Biggest negative was zero water pressure coming from the shower head. Needs to remove “water saver” device in head. Oh, 86 steps up - good exercise!

Thank you so much for your review. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. During the service, Alessandro mentioned that you could contact him anytime if you needed anything, so he could help you right away — for example, with your ticket request.
We always do our best to make our guests feel well taken care of and to be attentive to their needs.
We were very pleased staying here for 4 nights. The 4 flights of stairs were a bit of a hike, but we were made aware before we rented, and it was not that bad - most of our time was spent in the city anyway, and the apartment was a great location for that! We hope to someday be back!
We had a wonderful week in Rome and the apartment was in an amazing location. We walked to everything we wanted to see and there were a ton of restaurants close by so after a long day with many miles out on, we didn’t have to walk far for awesome dinners and drinks! The apartment was very comfortable and decently equipped. Thank you for a great stay in Rome!

Good Location BUT
Great location. Nice owner. Clean. One AC unit for the whole apartment so it was very hot except for one room where the AC was located. The building is under very significant construction.
Spotless, with everything included. Fine hotel amenities, and more. Wonderful big bedroom with lux bedding. Netflix. Fully stocked kitchen. Central location near the train station, Coloseum, Opera and museums. Great value.

The apartment was fine but to get to the apartment we had climb 85 steps.
The apartment worked fine for us the problem was so many steps to climb to get to the apartment!
I really enjoyed my time here. Spacious bedroom with windows that open up to Rome. A cozy balcony to sip your morning coffee. A great surrounding neighborhood. Just be prepared to climb a few stairs!
The host and her wonderful driver/aid, Sasha, were so very helpful. Her communication was excellent and Sasha both picked us up and dropped us off at the Rome airport. They are both superb pros and ultra-reliable.
PERFECT location, beautiful apartment, king size bed and comfy futon for the kids. Light, bright and airy, gorgeous view from top floor master bedroom, and tidy kitchen so you can eat breakfast with a coffee before starting your day. The LOCATION is simply amazing. You walk downstairs and the best restaurant in old town “Temi” is to your right, the best pizza you’ve ever had is at the corner to your left “the drunken bull” and guess what? You’re about 6 blocks from the coliseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, st Mary’s basilica and myriad other attractions and world class shopping are a quick walk nearby. It is a 5th floor walk up so bring your step counts with you. Note: Definitely not wheelchair friendly. DEFINITELY take the host up on the ride from the airport. Alessandro is an amazing guide. We loved him and his weekend sightseeing excursions. They were our highlight. I simply can’t rate this experience highly enough. Will return. Thank you!!
The property was a short walk to everything. The hosts were very responsive and very helpful with suggestions and transportation. The bed was comfortable (something that can be iffy when you travel) and we loved the little terrace. This is where we spent a lot of our time when we were in the apartment. The flat is on the fifth floor so the hike up the stairs was challenging with luggage but overall not an issue for us. This should not be a deterrent if you’re in decent physical shape.
Thank you for such a fantastic stay!

Downtown
The location was fantastic, the apartment was very clean and neat. We had to check in by being there when housekeeping was there vs getting instructions for self checkout. This process made me nervous as Im not a resident and was driving in from a long distance. Parking is brutal, but likely simply due to the middle of everything location. We did find a garage but not the one we were given directions for. I didnt get instructions for checkout, which is fine as long as the host doesn't hold it against me that i didnt take out the trash b/c I didnt know where to take it. Overall great place.
Overall location excellent. Great selection of restaurants and bars in area. Can walk to most of well known sites and central bus/ train station.
It is located in 5th floor so you need to be able bodied. No central seating area eg.living room to relax although small table in hall could be used.
warm as on top floor although it was 33 degrees outside .
Met with a friendly visit and complimentary water in fridge much appreciated
Not brilliant cooking facilities and no oven but let’s face you don’t visit rome to cook!!
Communication with host prior and during our stay was fantastic and quick responses to any question.
We were told that there were 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, we’ll worth the climb but be prepared m.
We were might by the nice Alessandro who helped carry our bags up to the apartment
And showed us around. Nice extras such as apples in the fruit bowl and bottled water.
Lots to do within walking distance, nice places to eat for all budgets.
Bus stop just in front of the apartment.
Overall a fantastic base for exploring Rome.
We loved it here. Clean. Safe. Comfortable. Cute apartment in an older building in this amazing city. We would stay again if it were available, and we are fortunate enough to go back to Rome. I would point out that the bedroom is the only room that is air-conditioned, which was fine for us. Also, there are 78 steps to the room. We knew this when we booked, so we expected it. However, carrying luggage down the steps was an adventure. We are older. They are working on the building, so maybe they will add a lift.I would also like to add that there is a guide named Alesondro. He picked us up from the airport and took us to the apartment. He also carried our luggage up those steps. We hired him to take us around Rome, and if you have this opportunity, do it. We had the most amazing experience with Alesondro, the people we met through him, and the places he took us both inside and outside of Rome. He is a historian and taught us the history beyond what we read in books about the places we visited in Rome. We also went to Tivoli, visited estates there, and then Nemi for a festival where we felt the pulse of the Italian people. Amazing. I could write forever on how awesome this trip was for us, but it would take up too much space. Take away point.... Hire Alesondro
