Casa Papaya 1, en Plena Naturaleza y Apta Para Mascotas

The "Papaya 1" house, along with "Casa Papaya 2" and "Casa Maracuya," is part of our beloved "Finca Suculenta." It is a fully renovated historic home that’s approximately 200 years old, located just 350 metres above sea level. On the same property, in a separate house, we live with our little dog Fito and our affectionate cats, who are sure to pay you a visit (Allergy sufferers, beware!). It has a separate, private entrance, as well as its own outdoor areas. It’s equipped with all kinds of amenities, such as information about the island, toys, a yoga mat, and beach towels (upon request), books, board games, and a CD player with radio, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity, plus a large collection of CDs. Plus, there’s Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and heating for those days when the temperatures might drop a bit.
The house is spread over several floors: a bedroom with a single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m) and a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) for 3 people, and the bathroom on the lower level; and a staircase leads to the ground floor, where you’ll find the kitchen-dining area with a cosy sitting area; from there, another staircase leads to the top floor, featuring a beautiful wooden loft with a double bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m) and a TV area with access to the semi-covered terrace)
The kitchen (with a table and five chairs) is fully equipped with everything you need and features a cosy relaxation area with an electric fireplace (with a fire effect but no heating).
The bedroom has a closet and a large mirror.
Both the bedroom and the bathroom have doors with screens to ensure proper ventilation and maintain the perfect temperature for sleeping in both winter and summer.

The partially covered and enclosed terrace, with beautiful views of the mountains and the sea, is perfect for sunny breakfasts. It has a cosy, covered nook with a table, bench, and chairs, as well as two lounge chairs for sunbathing and a small portable grill.
"Casa Papaya 1" (about 70 m², plus the large, partially covered terrace) is perfect for large families! If you’re lucky with the weather, you’ll be able to see the neighbouring islands of Tenerife and La Gomera from here.
Combined with “Casa Papaya 2” (about 55 m² plus a large terrace and private garden), which is located in the same building, it can accommodate a total of 9 people (children under 12 stay for free), making it perfect if grandparents or friends come along on holiday too… everyone has their own little home, but you’ll be staying in the same building. The two units are separated by exterior doors to ensure complete privacy.
The washing machine is available for free use, and there are covered clotheslines.
Towels, bedding, rugs, and tea towels can be exchanged for clean ones as often as you’d like during your stay—just let me know.
The price of your stay does not include toilet paper or trash bags.
There is also a small outdoor area with a garden where you can harvest aromatic herbs.




Your pets are very welcome
as long as you treat the accommodation with respect and care.
Pet rules:
You are not allowed to leave your pet alone in the apartment.
Outside, when leaving or entering the apartment, your pet must be on a leash. We’ll provide a small bed, as well as a food and water bowl, so your pet can also enjoy a happy and comfortable holiday—and won’t have to climb onto sofas or beds, which are for the exclusive use of human guests :-) Please keep your dog under control to prevent barking or possible damage to the property.
