TERRIBLE *AVOID* DISGUSTING
Wasn't very happy with the house at all. First of all the central heating wasn't working and the house was very cold. The single electric heater in the living room wasn't enough to heat the entire house. There was rubbish lying out the back and a bag of dog poo when we arrived, no bbq, the bed linen wasn't clean, my niece found betting slips under her pillow and there were white stains on the sheet in the downstairs bedroom. The outdoor furniture was broken and could not be sat on, the wifi didn't work, there was no kettle or hairdryer as advertised. The oven was filthy and when we turned it on, the house and all our clothes were then smelly. The bathrooms weren't clean, toilet seats broken, toothpaste in the sinks, litter under the beds, fridge was unclean, broken drawer front in the kitchen. The towels which I was told were washed were hung over a radiator that was never going to heat up to dry said towels, that were supposed to be provided as advertised. There was also a soaking wet dressing gown hung over the chair. My nephew and my son have asthma and the lack of heating alone is not good for their health
When renting and paying substantial amounts of money to stay at a property, you expect a certain standard to be upheld and unfortunately our stay at this property did not met our expectations at all. It was false advertising and put a dampener on our weekend that we had to save hard for. Host was great until I complained ad asked for partial refund then she ignored me
