Enjoy your perfect mountain retreat in our light-filled, spacious home. This secluded 13+ acre private forest offers an idyllic escape with breathtaking views, wildlife, and trails as your backyard. Minutes away from Grand Targhee and easy access to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park.
Our home is perched on the mountain and surrounded by beautiful forest. With 4-bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, and lots of natural light, it will be the perfect fit for a peaceful but active vacation. The master bedroom is located on the upper level, with a king-sized bed, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Step out on the balcony for a sweeping view of the valley.
On the main level are an open family room, dining room, and kitchen area, perfect for any family event. There are two bedrooms on the main level: one with a California King bed and walk-in closet, and the other with a single and designated office space. Ideal for those who might need to squeeze in a few working hours between activities. The main floor has a full bathroom, with tub and shower and a washer/dryer is available for any clothing recovery needed
In the lower level you'll find a small exercise facility, with an elliptical and a Nordictrack Nordicflex home gym for anyone wanting to grab a quick indoor workout. There is also a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom with a shower on this level. Lots of storage room for your skis, bikes and any other gear you want protected from the elements.
Our property offers guests unique hiking trails back to the Wyoming State line. Feel free to explore! The trail begins directly out the back door and ends nearly a mile away at the Wyoming line. The line is marked by a barbed-wire fence---be careful not to trip on it as many deer, elk, and moose have trampled it! Given our mountain location, you will likely see plenty of wildlife and we would ask you to be cautious and respectful of any that you may come across.
Located in Victor, Idaho but between the downtown of Victor and Driggs, you'll have plenty of options to grab a quick bite on your way in or out. Swing by Pierre's Playhouse and be sure to stop at the Emporium for a huckleberry shake and a taste of the local scene. If you choose to head to Driggs, don't forget to visit The Spud drive-in theater for a double feature on a Friday night. For the best pizza in town, try the brand new Tatonka Tavern. This is the perfect location to enjoy small-town charm while seated outdoors on the balcony.
With Grand Targhee only minutes away and biking or skiing at your disposal, it doesn't matter if it's a winter or summer visit. Jackson is only 30 minutes over the pass and Yellowstone is an easy day trip. With skiing, biking, rafting, fishing, climbing, hiking, and kayaking, this is an outdoor paradise! We're happy to provide any suggestions that might make your stay more pleasant!
