About this property

Our lodge is in a quiet position in St Merryn Park with easy access to 7 beautiful sandy bays. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed, Bed 2 has a Superking, can be made into twin beds on request. Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room and walk in wardrobe. All linen and towels included. Spacious open plan kitchen living and dining area with TV DVD and sliding door onto a private secure deck with seating. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and wine fridge. Separate utility area with washing machine and pet shower. There is also an outside tap to wash surfboards or muddy pets too.
Deck area with seating for evening sunshine or morning coffee and a sunny large secure back garden with patio. BBQ.
Shed for bicycle or boards. 4 minutes drive from St Merryn or a beach and 10 minute drive from Padstow. Shop, Bar, tennis courts all on site.
1 pet allowed £20 charge. More pets on request
NO WIFI although we currently have an EE dongle which is proving effective for streaming.

I am now semi retired having worked in travel, further education and as a Pilates instructor in the past. I now enjoy my freetime in this fabulous area of Cornwall swimming, cycling walking amongst other hobbies such as yoga and reading.

Why they chose this property

This area of North Cornwall is blessed with 7 sandy beaches, Harlyn, Treyarnon, Constantine, Boobys, Porthcothan, Trevone and Mother Iveys, the tagline is 7 bays for 7 days! All are dog friendly year round except Trevone which restricts dogs from 15th May to 30 September between 10am and 6pm. Aside from the fabulous beaches which offer swimming surfing paddleboarding there are gorgeous walks along the SW coast path or inland. Heligan and the Eden project, Tate St Ives are all within reach as is Bodmin Moor and some beautiful gardens and National Trust properties. And then there's the foodie scene, Michelin star restaurants or cosy pubs and beach cafes.

What makes this property unique

Our lodge is well sitauted in a quiet part of the park, it is a home from home I lived there for 6 months so it is well equipped and very comfortable. An excellent base for exploring and a peaceful haven to come back to and relax
