The space
Little Wyvis Lodge was built in 2020 to create a stylish space to sleep 2 people. There is a compact well equipped kitchen with a two burner gas hob, fridge and small freezer section. A comfortable seating area has both wifi and a smart TV,. Accommodation comprises a comfy double bed with en suite with a walk in shower. In addition there is a covered veranda seating area at the front of the Lodge which overlooks woodland. There is ample off road parking.
Welcome Pack: For your arrival we supply the following: milk, tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, herbs and spices, toilet paper, soap. There is a Tesco and Aldi in Dingwall (13 miles) and a smaller Tesco in Ullapool (30 miles) all open 7 days a week.
Hillwalkers and climbers will appreciate the many peaks surrounding the Lodge each offering challenges for all levels of experience and fitness. The 4 Munro circuit of Ben Dearg or the 9 Munro peaks of the Fannichs as well as the Torridon hills are nearby. Walkways have been constructed by the Forestry Commission and provide trails around the Black Water River and Rogie Falls, (about 4 miles away). Other activities include wildlife spotting, fishing, mountain biking, or just admiring the magnificent scenery with a scenic drive. If golf is your thing then there are excellent courses a short drive away at Strathpeffer, Muir of Ord, Ullapool, Gairloch and Lochcarron.
