Plakoti village is just 600 m from the closest village of Adele where you can find super markets, cafe, bakeries and more. This peaceful place is only 3,5 km from the beach and 8 km from city of Rethymno. Arkadi Monastery, the place where Cretans sacrificed against Turcks back in 1866 by blowing the gun powder keg to avoid captivity, is only 15 km away from the complex. Within a 40-50 minutes’ drive you will also find Drimos gorge with a unique natural heritage. In the gorge hidden in the rocks is the little church of Agios Antonios (Saint Antonios) which is built literally in them.

Much thought and consideration have been devoted to the architectural planning of Plakoti Village, with the traditional Cretan village being used as a prototype. The houses have modern, efficiently equipped interiors combined with simple Cretan comfort, and offer privacy and peacefulness.Plakoti Village is an attractive place to spend your holiday, enjoying in peace and quiet. It is away from the busy tourist areas but still close to the sandy beach and all necessary amenities. The closest village of Agia Paraskevi is just a short walk away. The long sandy beach is 2.5 km away.

You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town of Rethymno, which is 300m away, where the old houses with the venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit.

The three-bedroom holiday home has a living space of 87m².
At the shared 200m² pool which is spread over two levels, you can enjoy endless swimming and sunbathing. Sun loungers are provided at the pool area.
The location of the holiday house is very practical since it is located 6km from Rethymno, halfway between Chania and Heraklion. This location will give you easy access to the most famous destinations in Crete.
