Relax in this "Hamptons" style loft apartment just a few minutes walk from the anchorage with its fish restaurants, cafes and pubs…it’s also the best place to see the amazing sunsets across the water!
The apartment is self-contained having its own staircase from the ground floor and on-site parking. Open plan living, balcony, fully equipped kitchen, contemporary bathroom with massive walk-in shower, double bedroom and boot/laundry room. All designed with you in mind!

I moved to the Island about 35 yrs ago after being a regular visitor. I love the Island, where I live and being on the water. I also like traveling and have tried to incorporate all that has been best in my stays into the properties I'm now hosting to give you a stay experience that you'll love.
Why they chose this property
Mersea Island is unique, it's the most Easterly inhabited Island in the UK, there's one road on and off the Island and occasionally it floods for a few hours! We're located within a five-minute walk of the waterfront with its fish restaurants and pubs as well as waterports and boat trips.

Salt Lodge is tucked away down a private drive, if you want to leave your car then everything is within walking distance and if you feel adventurous you can walk the whole way around the Island!
