The Lodge is well furnished and equipped and it is clear the hosts want their guests to be comfortable, happy and well-catered for. We enjoyed the grounds in autumn which were stunning and stewed some fresh apples that we had been invited to collect as windfalls from the garden. The hosts were friendly and responsive. It is one of the few cottages where I’ve stayed where there are uptodate instruction manuals and lots of TV streaming services easily available. We are grateful to have discovered the property at short notice and would recommend it highly.
