The check-in process started off awkwardly. I arrived at the property at 2:15 PM and was informed that check-in was not until 3:00 PM, even though the provided literature clearly stated check-in was at 2:00 PM. The host did eventually come over and check us in.
The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and reasonably priced. The air conditioning is only available in the living room and the master bedroom. Although there are two bathrooms, there was not a single roll of toilet paper or bar of soap provided anywhere in the apartment. Additionally, there is no hot water in the apartment.
I noticed immediately that the TV was not working and reported the issue right away. Despite explaining that it was not related to the remote batteries or signal, the issue was never resolved during my stay.
Wristbands are required at all times, and guests are not allowed. Entry is provided via a key card, even though the door also has a keypad. After accidentally locking the key card inside the apartment, I was informed there is a cost to unlock the door. Unfortunately, this happened twice, during my stay. Even though they entered to check on the TV I was charged for the key retrieval.
