When you pass through the antique rustic doors from the lane, you know your adventure in Savannah has just begun.

This charming 380 sq. ft., one bedroom, one bath carriage house, with private entry, is a cozy and comfortable place to come home to after a long day of exploring. Conveniently located in the Historic Landmark District, The Nest is an easy 10 minute walk to River St., but tucked away from the noise and bustle on a residential lane.

The Nest is a loft style carriage house (Queen-sized bed in bedroom and living area combined) plus kitchen and bathroom. High ceilings and plenty of light give this small space a roomy feel. It's kitchen is compact but has every thing you need. The bathroom has an ample shower and great natural lighting.

There is a private porch with café seating overlooking the shared courtyard. with an additional seating area, raised flower beds, filled with an ever changing selection of container plants.

Savannah getaway

Near Forsyth Park and Mercer-Williams historic residence. Quaint and everything needed for a fantastic short stay. Host was very communicative, and instructions easy to follow. Ideal for couples. We loved our trip.

Great Location

If you are looking for a place in the thick of Savannah this is it. Right next to Forsyth Park and Bull street. Cool little place to lay your head at night and explore the city during the day!

We enjoyed all 3 Telfair museums, a river boat cruise, and the Mercer-Williams mansion. All within walking distance. Also, we scored a parking spot- free. Thanks so much.

This is an amazing place that is walking distance to so many things! It was a bit hard to find as it's situated in an alley, but it's great for 2 people. It is small, with a small bathroom and there were no washcloths or kitchen towels that we found, so we went out and purchased a few and left them there. Other than that the place was a fantastic location for our short stay!

Wonderful Place, perfect location

We were lucky to find this lovely carraige house in the best part of town, a charming neighborhood near forsythe and many places to eat and drink. My daughter and I were from St. Pete escaping the hurricane and this was a wonderful, cozy stay all the way down to the very comfortable bed, the coffee, and the lovely garden down below. Many thanks for a great stay!!

Cottage getaway

The cottage was clean and located in a safe neighborhood within waking distance to Forsyth Park and downtown. Since there's a private entrance to the garden, we felt comfortable leaving our luggage on the porch before and after check in and checkout.

Wonderful time at the Nest

Property manager was super helpful. Great little place and location. If I ever go back to Savannah, I would definitely stay here again! No issues finding parking in the area when we arrived. The construction next door wasn’t a problem for us since we were out the door before 8-9am.

Great spot for a solo trip

This was the perfect place for me - I stayed 2 nights for a marathon and the space was perfect for my needs. The only trouble I had was with check in, the keypad on the door was not working; however the host was immediately responsive to my panicked text and the issue was resolved with only very minor inconvenience. The bed was very comfortable and I slept SO well the second night (once I realized I needed to close the curtains to block out the streetlights). Location was perfect too, walking distance to the few places I went during my brief stay and many more I wish I’d had the time for.

Wonderful location.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is small, but comfortable, just right for two. It is located approximately 1-2 blocks from Forsyth park. Easy walk to everything. Jackie is a wonderful host and even spent a small portion of her New Year’s Eve getting our TV on track. Thank you Jackie, it was so nice to meet you. I would definitely recommend your place.

Wonderful little apartment in an old carriage house. So close to Forsythe Park, and bus stops for the DOT free busses. There is construction next door, but they really didn't bother us at all. The color of the door paint is amazing, and I want it!

Loved everything about it

We loved everything about this property. It was clean. The small kitchen was stocked with everything, even though we only used the water kettle. There is even a washer and dryer, which was convenient on this rainy weekend. We found street parking right outside the lane and after 5pm on Friday it was free. You're only steps from Forsyth Park and minutes from downtown. I would definitely recommend!!
