About this property
Normandy Cottage. Perfect location to relax.Easy access to many historical sites
Normandy Cottage is a newly renovated workers cottage.
Situated in a quiet rural location yet within easy reach of many sites of interest, such as Mont St Michel, Mortain, Bayeux Tapestry and Cathedral, Caen, William the Conquerors Castle at Falaise and Normandy Beaches. Close to Calvados, Mayenne and Brittany borders .... you can choose which direction to travel!
Ideal for those hikers and bikers who like to experience different levels of adventure.
We love the kitchen as it has many items that make cooking and meal prep a breeze.
Ideally suited for couples and adults with discerning taste and those looking for some special accommodation.
As we are in a rural setting, if you are quiet and up early, you may see deer that live in the area ,,, or a fox and at night we have hedgehogs ! Also there are many different birds around and a local pair of buzzards that can be seen on the wing at certain times.
Please note that the Cottage will be centrally heated (from October to April only)
This will raised a charge of 10 GBP per day when booked during these dates.
This is to be paid outside of VRBO (to avoid extra charges to you) with the security deposit. Thank you.
Also, we do offer a mid stay clean and linen change for those staying over one week. This is at a charge of 60 euros and payable directly to my housekeeper. This service is only if you wish, some guests use this in the middle of summer. In winter it maybe difficult to wash and dry your bed linen.
