The cottage has been fully refurbished in 2023 to provide a well-equipped and comfortably furnished throughout. The centrepiece of the living and dining room is the fireplace, having two wood-burning stoves to offer cosy solace on any chilly evening. The rear enclosed lawn garden is a private and safe oasis for relaxation and outdoor gatherings. The cottage stairs are original and characterized by their steep incline, a typical design of its era. Having three bedrooms, each providing a wonderful nights’ sleep, the master boasts en-suite shower room facility and there is a separate toilet.
Within 30 minutes’ drive are the popular seaside resorts of Cromer, known for its wonderful sandy beach and pier, and Sheringham, home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. Slightly farther are the beautiful beaches at Holkham, Brancaster and Wells and seal watching trips from Morston and Blakeney. Additionally, you can explore the famous Norfolk Broads National Park, miles of picturesque waterways, abundant with wildlife. Enjoy daily boat hire and river trips to explore the waterways. For those that wish to keep their feet dry, enjoy the many riverside cafés, restaurants, and pubs. The vibrant market town of Aylsham lies 2 miles, for regular market days, supermarket, pubs, cafés and opportunity to jump on the Bure Valley narrow gauge railway, jump on and off along the route, stopping at the Brampton, Buxton, Coltishall and Norfolk Broads capital, Wroxham. Norwich City 11 miles, for fantastic castle museum, cathedral, excellent shopping, theatre, art galleries, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Places of historical interest and stately homes can be found within easy driving distance, and National Trust Blickling Hall and Felbrigg boast open air concerts during the summer season. There are also many places ideal for walking your four-legged friends.
