Just outside the renowned town of Montecatini Terme—one of Tuscany’s most beautiful and famous cities of art—and situated in a uniquely peaceful area on the edge of the Padule di Fucecchio, a Protected Wildlife Area and surrounded by the typical Tuscan hills, stands Villa Elisa, a prestigious manor house that offers you the unique hospitality typical of the Tuscan tradition. The property, which appears on maps dating back to around the 1600s drawn by the Medici family, has recently been restored and furnished to provide guests with a truly special experience. A unique effort was made to source materials typical of the Tuscan tradition, such as Impruneta terracotta, ceilings with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floor tiles, and Montelupo majolica, combined with warm colour tones that will immerse you in the quintessential atmosphere of Tuscany. The architect’s meticulous work has successfully blended the property’s historic character with the comfort of an elegant holiday home, where guests will find the utmost comfort—whether indoors or in the lush garden—to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. The villa, arranged over two levels, features all the living areas on the ground floor, along with a fully equipped kitchen, strictly in the Tuscan style. There are also two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one of which is accessible for guests with disabilities. Climbing the “pietra serena” stone staircase leads to the second floor, where you’ll find the remaining bedrooms. For maximum comfort, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ultra-fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi, and an outdoor repeater to cover part of the garden. Surrounding the villa is a unique garden with an English-style lawn, where you can stroll and rediscover magical sensations, multicoloured floral scents, aromatic plants with unique scents, and tall poplars and maritime pines whose broad canopies will provide shade for your days of complete relaxation. The owners, who are deeply committed to ensuring the rest and enjoyment of Villa Elisa’s guests, have included in the grounds a swimming pool with a spacious, fully equipped sun deck, a regulation-size tennis court, a well-equipped children’s play area, a ping-pong table, a foosball table, and a spacious living area with elegant armchairs, all in the shade of centuries-old pine trees. From this special and peaceful location, you can reach the famous spa towns of Montecatini Terme or Monsummano Terme—home to the renowned Grotta Giusti—in just a few minutes. Equally important is its proximity to the A11 highway entrance, from which you can reach nearby Lucca, Pisa, Forte dei Marmi, Vinci, Florence, and other famous Tuscan cities. Upon request, you can book horseback riding excursions in the adjacent Padule di Fucecchio wildlife reserve. Please note: if you rent the property under this option, no other guests will be present on the entire property.
