Beautiful, Comfortable, Perfect Location
If this flat was for sale we would buy it! Perfect location for seeing Barcelona with the Metro a block and a half away, taxis on the corner, Bici bicycles downstairs and sites such as Sagrada la Familia, Casa Batllo, Plaza de Cataluna, the Gothic Quarter, Port Vell and Santa Caterina and Boqueria Markets all very walkable. You are in the middle of everything, yet just out of the major tourist zone.
The flat has beautiful high ceilings, lots of light, good sized bedrooms, a small patio, and accessible balconies for people watching or just taking in the beauty of Rambla de Catalunya. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, washer/dryer and an American sized fridge. There is a convenient grocery store a few doors down with friendly staff and a large grocery store a few blocks away at the Corta de Ingles. The restaurant downstairs, Conchitos, was a favorite, with wonderful food and service. The flat is on the first floor and easily accessible by stairs or a small lift. Upon arrival, we were met at the flat by the owner's sons, who provided us with keys and electronic entry for the flat. The wifi is reliable and a desk in the back bedroom made a good spot to work. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the living area to gather and a large flat screen TV for movie watching. Easy check out, just leave the keys and go. Thank you so much for providing such a lovely flat to call home during our time in your beautiful city! We hope to return soon.
