Everything was exactly as advertised. With a car and tricky traffic in the area, the host went above and beyond to get us checked in and settled.

Rooftop terrace and view are spectacular!

We enjoyed our stay at this fabulous apartment in Rome. The Colosseum and many other historic sites are viewable from the rooftop. The apartment was comfortable but gets 1 star for "accuracy of listing" because we rented it as a 6 BEDROOM APARTMENT when it is actually only 3 BEDROOMS. Needless to say we were very disappointed when we realized that half of our group were going to be sleeping on sofas...and the rental company wouldn't even make them into sofabeds (which one was) or give us sheets to do it ourselves... The check-in process was a little weird too. We had to meet the rental rep who didn't seem to know anything about the apartment and initially told us we couldn't use the elevator in the apartment to access the rooftop (which was THE MAIN REASON I BOOKED THIS APARTMENT so I was VERY agitated, especially when added to the fact that the apartment was half the size of what was advertised!) So, if you book this apartment, be aware that it really only comfortably holds 4 people, not 6 (unless 4 of them are children), AND if you're told you can't access the rooftop - DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! Because even in winter, the rooftop was awesome!! (and, the washing machine is on the rooftop so you need to be able to access it!)The rental company explained that it was a mix-up with vrbo and helped us out with an airport transfer and late check-out. Overall they were great to work with. This apartment bldg. also had an elevator which was wonderful bc of all the stairs.
