The photos make this place look brighter than it is. If you had six people seeking elevated hostel accommodations, this would be value for money, with three double beds. For two people seeking comfort and convenience, this offered a convenient location but little comfort. The beds were hard and pillows very thin; the lounge was really just a hallway with a pleather couch and a table with broken chairs; the unit smelled of cigarette smoke and wasn't fully clean (dirty bathroom floors, nail polishes left on the radiator, etc); there were lots of broken things and scuffs. It felt like we were staying in the middle of someone's move: there was a step ladder propped up in the hallway, art propped on the floor, paint chips and dry rot galore. The kitchen was nice: it was the one thing that felt up-market, but we didn't actually cook in it. The bedrooms were hot and there were no fans, and only the back bedroom felt safe for an open window, so we slept there (unfortunately, the neighbors were very noisy). Oh, and booking this has proved challenging: they don't tell you on VRBO's listing, but you go through a laborious second booking process through Sigma Stays, including processing payment through them (which started out as a wire transfer request but they eventually sent a credit card link...at least you have some guarantees with a credit card transfer). The decor felt very industrial and dingy; it could use softening, brightening, and paint. The parking was convenient, though.
