Officially known by its Irish name, Droichead Nua, meaning 'The New Bridge', the town is a bustling holiday base, best known as a commuter town for Dublin, offering you easy access to the surrounding wonders of Ireland. Resting on the banks of the River Liffey and bounded by the Curragh Plains to the west, Pollardstown Fen and the Bog of Allen and Moulds Bog to the north west, there's plenty of scenic excitement waiting to be discovered here.
