Description: Part of a historic medieval manor house located in the small countryside village of Pripriac, Ille et Vilaine. Le Chatel grounds are peaceful and relaxing with mature trees, views of a lake and vast farmland fields . Upstairs you will have the use of two newly renovated bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom, with a king sized bed, and the second is a spacious room with two single beds and the use of a cot if required, all of which are made with clean, fresh bedding. Furthermore there is a family bathroom with a sink, bath/shower, and separated toilet. Towels, shower gels/soaps, shampoo/conditioner are complimentary with your stay. Downstairs you are welcomed with a large living room, with a sofa, arm chairs, tv and a historic fireplace. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining room with plenty of storage space, a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and gas cooker, fridge, table and chairs. Freezer and washing machine available on request in oubuildings. Outside you have use of the large front and back garden. We provide ample parking space, garden table and chairs set, BBQ, sun loungers, indoor and outdoor games and books for your enjoyment. The grounds hold beautiful trees and flower beds, a lake with plentiful carp and an ancient mound which was originally a defensive motte and bailey. Furthermore there is a small apple orchard and former chapel to explore. If you enjoy cycling there are bicycles available to explore the area . We are pet friendly and welcome your fury friends. Pipriac is a small traditional Breton village. Amenities include a supermarket 'Super U' 1.8km away, local boucherie, poisonerie, boulangerie, pattiserie and a local market in the square. There are cultural and historic sites and entertainment close by: . Saint-Just (4km away) - an important megalithic site with standing stone monuments. .The River Vilaine (10 km) - walks and cycling paths. . Loheac (10km) A large automobile museum. . La Gacilly (15km) birthplace of cosmetic entrepreneur , Yves Rocher. It is a beautiful floral, cobbled stone village with arts and crafts and an outdoor photographic exhibition. With good restaurants such as : Les Enfants Gâtés, Le Vegetarium, les Jardins Sauvages. . Le château de Branfèrè and its botanical and wild life park ( 1500 different species of animals) (55km) in Morbihan . The Forest de Broceliande (Paimpont) (35km) A mythical forest known for its legends and stories about King Arthur and Merlin. .The City of Rennes (40km) 30-to-40-minute drive away.

Maison-manoir de caractère ancien, magnifiquement restaurée, décoration sobre et soignée, située dans un vaste parc à utilisation privée. Il n'y manque rien, le soin aux détails est parfait, fleurs fraîchement coupées du jardin, beau linge de maison. Accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires Bénédicte et James. Nous y avons passé un séjour très agréable et avons bien envie d'y revenir. Nous le conseillons vivement aux amoureux de la nature, de l'authentique, de la beauté des lieux anciens préservés avec amour par leurs propriétaires.
