For your enjoyment, we have the kitchen, with its central island and adjacent dining table, which make the perfect setting for a gathering of family or friends. While dishes are carefully prepared at the island, the aroma of freshly cooked food fills the space.

Laughter and conversation flow naturally around the kitchen table, creating an atmosphere of togetherness and camaraderie.

If you’d like, open the patio doors and let yourself be enveloped by the peace and natural beauty of a space full of life, where the cool shade of the trees blends with the soothing sound of the river flowing just a few steps away.

Stroll through the patio and enjoy the stone mill fountain, a traditional feature that adds a touch of charm to the patio, in a harmonious setting that invites you to relax.

If you prefer, lose yourself in a good book or simply enjoy the silence and tranquility of the surroundings.

The courtyard is also an ideal place to relax outdoors, have a morning coffee, or enjoy dinner under the stars. Enjoy delicious meals outdoors, grilling your favourite dishes over an open flame.

If you prefer, you can spend some time in the living room. Imagine a space where indoor and outdoor life blend in perfect harmony. An open-concept living room, bathed in natural light streaming through large windows, creating an unparalleled sense of freedom and spaciousness.

As you’ve seen, the house is located next to the “Arroyo de Salar” stream. Here, you can hear the birds singing and the water flowing.

Plus, if you enjoy walking, there’s a path right from the house that takes you through olive groves, and at the same time, you can reach all the town’s amenities (bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy…) in just a few minutes on foot.

If you’re interested in culture, the house is just a stone’s throw from the famous and spectacular Roman Villa of Salar.

You can also explore various hiking trails in the area, such as the Infiernos de Loja, the Molinos de Alhama, or the nearby Sierra Tejeda-Alhama Natural Park.

If you also enjoy skiing and winter sports, you’ll be at the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort in less than an hour. Or if you’d rather go out for tapas in Granada or visit the Alhambra, you’ll get there in just over half an hour.

If you’re in the mood for the beach, we’re very close to Motril and La Herradura—and even less than an hour from Málaga.

El Molino Viejo de Salar is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and it offers all the comforts of home. Parking is easy, and you can explore the entire village on foot.

The house features a 250 m² patio with fruit trees, a glass-enclosed porch with a barbecue, a small pool with lounge chairs, and a half-bath.

The interior is warm and inviting. On the ground floor, you’ll find the kitchen—spacious, bright, and fully equipped—a spacious living room with views of the river and a fireplace, and a small bathroom. On the ground floor are the three bedrooms—two with double beds and the other with two 90 cm beds—and a spacious bathroom.
