Beautiful view, but....

The villa was lovely, and our property manager was very attentive. The villa itself was very comfortable, bedrooms were clean and neat. The bathrooms were adequate with clean towels and great hot water. The kitchen was well equipped, definitely could use a larger coffee pot. The outdoor space is beautiful, the pool is well maintained.There is a washer but no dryer.The property is a bit remote, on the side of a mountain you need to drive everywhere. The house was not equipped with flashlights or lanterns or candles which we needed when we lost power for 36 hours. The property manager did bring candles but we needed more. Eventually we also had no water, so we decided to leave and go to a hotel in Cortona for the remainder of our trip.

Wonderful house and town

We had a wonderful week in this villa. The house is beautifully restored, the garden splendid, the poolside wonderful and Emma Villas looked after us exceptionally well. The Location was very close to Cortona which has lots of shops and restaurants, including shops for wonderful local produce if you want to use the good kitchens provided in the house. We found the local people in Cortona friendly and open, which was great. The structure was really perfect. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spacious yet felt very cozy.

amazing holiday!!!

The house is made for a good size family, the pool is simply a dream, the garden huge and meticulous mantained, the location on the hill provides privacy and a stunning view and Cortona and surroundings gave us lots of options to explore the tuscan charm. We booked a cooking class with emma villas and was very funny and cute. Very pretty place!

One of the best holidays

Our stay at La torretta was truly a memoriable one, the area is beautiful, we loved Cortona and the close proximity to the property. The pool and accommodation were excellent, the property suits a large family and is generously proportioned with beautifully landscaped grounds

relaxing stay

The property has a great view and the kitchen is well stocked, Tuscany is fantastic, we loved Cortona and its proximity to the property, restaurants and shops were at only 10 min drive. We recommend this accommodation, Emma Villas was responsive and helpful
