Our third stay. New Mexico history comes alive here. It feels like we are guests of Sheriff Brady in the 1870s. We saw turkeys, peacocks, wild goats and pigs. Lots of birds. There is a pond fed by a natural spring. I got the feeling of the way our ancestors lived in this wonderful mountain retreat. Can't wait to return.

Thank you for choosing Walnut Grove Ranch for your family vacation! You were great guests! We are looking forward to having you return!
We enjoyed our stay. Our younger family members had fun exploring, seeing all the animals & playing in the beautiful backyard. The adults enjoyed the cool mountain air of the mornings & coffee on the patio. A great weekend to "unplug" & spend time with family!!
The wild turkey's and peacock's put on a wonderful display! That alone was worth the stay. Well appointed and tastefully decorated. We could feel the history of the place.

Peaceful unique property. Perfect for larger groups
This was such a great and memorable place to stay during Christmas! We had a total of 11 people in our group and it comfortably accommodated all of us. We enjoyed the wildlife early in the mornings and were able to catch the peacocks during the day. We would definitely consider this property again in the furture!

Walnut Grove Ranch is so relaxing, peaceful and quiet. It's also a great place to step back into history. The yard surrounding the house is great for young imaginations. Lots of adventures to be had. The patios are great for outdoor dining and watching the wildlife.
The property was the perfect location for our family’s getaway from the crowds. The space the property provided allowed our entire party to relax and enjoy each other's company the entire time. Becca was communicative and accommodating to say the least. We will be returning.
Refrigerator need to be repaired. Otherwise, all was perfect. Picturesque, peaceful, ideal for family gatherings. It matches our dreams of life on earth.

Thank you for choosing Walnut Grove for your family weekend! Games are always fun... either outside or inside! Your family is welcome back anytime!
Our stay at Walnut Grove Ranch was so peaceful and relaxing. The scenery and the house are just so beautiful I cannot express in words. I have five teenagers and they all had a blast exploring the property and learning all the history about the house and just Lincoln in general. Becca is the best host ever and was very responsive to any and all questions we had. We will definitely be planning another stay for much longer next time.

Loved it!!!
Loved everything about it!!! Very homey!! Scenery is amazing!! Very relaxing!!! Management is very helpful and was there for whatever we needed!! In a secluded location which we liked! Interesting history to the house! Everything we needed was provided! Will definitely be back! Thank you!!!
We had a very nice Christmas Vacation with the whole family. There was plenty of room for the 11 of of us. We enjoyed the games available, the beautiful decorations (thank you Becca) and the wildlife. Along with the resident peacocks we were visited by wild boar, turkey, and a pair of mountain goats. We would definitely go back. Things are a little dated but that is part of the charm. My grandchildren thought the place had to be haunted because, “if it’s old, it’s probably haunted, Pappaw.” Great time.

We appreciate you choosing Walnut Grove Ranch for your family's Christmas! Glad you were able to see all of the wildlife. Yes, it is definitely a historic home and love your grandkids perception! You never know....
If you are looking for quiet, relaxing, wilderness kind of adventure… this is your place. This VRBO easily sleeps 14 comfortably; we had 11 in our group with each group having their own bathroom. Rooms were all very spacious, comfortable beds and the environment was always perfect temp. The outdoors had plenty of seating with tables to eat outside and enjoy the cool mountain air. We also enjoyed the covered dance floor with the party lights glowing and the heated lamp to keep the chill off all the while jamming to our playlist music via our Bluetooth device dancing the night away and reminiscing all those good ole family growing up days and solving the world problems . We definitely highly recommend this VRBO to enjoy for your family/friends hangout. VRBO does not disappoint. Becca is a great host; very communicative and there for you should you have questions or need help with anything. We will definitely be returning to this VRBO for our next family gathering.
The outside space of this property is unbeatable. We spent the entire weekend under the covered pavilion and it was glorious. The house served our purposes, though we had some issues with cleanliness. A couple of the beds had dirty sheets and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, and it had not been dusted in awhile. The house has a ton of character and interesting history. It was a fun quirky place overall.
