US Resident Experience After 14 Hours of Travel -
First, it was quite difficult to get a hold of the property owners and ask any kind of general questions that were needed, and had to hop on multiple chats with Expedia customer support to get of hold on them as well. Communication and check-in details were very poor and lacked a lot of information.
We arrived and saw that the rooms were clean and nice with towels, which was great! The area and location of the property were also great and in the heart of Richmond!
However, we were not informed of anything further about the property. No communication for what the wifi is or password until 7 hours later of a response from the property owner. The property list "A/C", the A/C is a mobile unit that was not plugged in or hooked up to the hose. Then we did it ourselves and still does not keep the property cool for a 2 story 3 bed home.
The fans were in the closet in boxes that we had to set up and build ourselves as if they just bought it the day of. We were informed of some damage to a frame and people would be coming to the property, no one came to the property, and constantly had to put our stuff up to be safe. The gate by the house had a constant alarm.
The beds are not comfortable and are extremely bouncy. The washer and dryer unit has no instructions on use and is difficult to follow.
Overall, not the best experience, and bad communication from property owners. Luckily the town made up for it due to its location.
