Being one of the oldest houses in Hertford, this period property exudes character. It’s spacious and versatile, perfect for a couple, a family with older children or a few friends. It’s a stone throw from the beautiful Hertford Castle and a few minutes walk into town where there’s a good choice of food shops, restaurants and bars. So much to do on your doorstep.
The space
A characterful two bedroom period property with sole use to the guests. Spacious rooms set on two floors and a fantastic location. The large main family bedroom has a double bed with two stacked single beds. This is perfect for a couple or a family of four that are happy to share a room (please send me a private message if you are wanting to use the extra single beds. The second bedroom has a double bed and is separated from the lounge by a curtain wall. If this room is not being used the curtain wall can be opened to allow more light into the space. The kitchen/dinner can easily seat 4 comfortably and 6 if required.
The property doesn’t have any outside space but the beautiful castle grounds are literally a minutes walk.
Guest access
Guests will be met by the owner at an agreed time.
Other things to note
Disclaimer: It is the guests responsibility to take care on the stairs. The stairs up to the top floor are protected under Grade2 listed conservation.
For this reason the property is not suited for infants and young children nor is it suited to those with issues with heights and climbing sets of stairs.
