Had a lovely weekend in a lovely lodge . Nothing was too much trouble for the host , he even went out of his way to make sure there was a menu in the cabin for a specific Chinese take away I had requested. Lovely quiet location but plenty to see in the local area. We will certainly be returning to this lodge
We had a great stay. Very spacious. Site great for dogs. Location was perfect for us to explore North Yorkshire. Accommodation well equipped. Very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely recommend.
The lodge was spotlessly clean, cosy, and well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and escape from everyday life.We especially loved the comfortable furnishings, the attention to detail throughout the lodge, which made it feel like a real home from home. The location was ideal for exploring the local villages, countryside walks, and all that the area has to offer.
We stayed over for one night only, the lodge is much bigger than the photos show, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We went to raby castle playground and Deer park nearby which was a great hit for our boys age 7&10, then back for a relax.
Upon entering this little home we were so impressed with how clean and inviting it is. From the thoughtful decor and furniture to the selection of books for children and their parents, we felt welcomed. I was able to cook dinner with all the necessary pots, pans and utensils. We are glad that we tried this option of a holiday home during our 2 weeks of traveling.
