Country house on the Leijen estate

Peter, Tamara, Abby, and Syb Dekker would love to share their beautiful spot in North Holland, near Alkmaar, with you. At Landgoed de Leijen, you can relax and enjoy your free time, nature, and each other’s company. The country house where you’ll be staying is spacious and features four bedrooms, three of which have private bathrooms. In the living area with an open kitchen, you can relax together by the soapstone stove or take a dip in the hot tub under the porch. We also have luxurious 4-person safari tents available on our grounds, surrounded by nature and featuring private bathrooms, a wood pellet stove, and Wi-Fi.

Fabulous house, grounds and surroundings with plenty to do and very friendly and helpful hosts. Houses that take large family groups are not so easy to find and this was very spacious and comfortable close to all the places we wanted to visit. As we stayed for 2 weeks, the lack of laundry facilities was a minor inconvenience, but the host was happy to wash any clothing for us a couple of times a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
