The house is located in the area of ​​Taugetos, more specifically in the village of Xirokambi. The area is a historical village which offers visitors the opportunity to visit to the Archaeological Museum which is 16.1km away and the Olive Museum which is 16.4 miles from the house.In Xirokambi you will find the arched Hellenistic bridge built around 150 BC. - the only one of its time that has survived to this day and connects ancient Sparta with Kardamili via the Roman road.The Anakolo Gorge is one of the few gorges that you can cross by driving, but its unique natural landscape will definitely make you prefer hiking.Also for food there is the Paralia tavern which is just 5 minutes walk from the house.



The Neighborhood:

The house is located on Xirokambi square, at the foot of Taugetos,15km near Sparta. It is accessible to cafes, super market, taverns, taxi rank. Nearby is the majestic church of the Holy Trinity.

It is a historic village with many traditions and with many events throughout the year such as the chestnut festival, summer festivals and theater performances.

Gytheio has a port only 33,2km and many options for beaches.One of them is Mavrovouni beach 39km away from house.

The hosts Mr Pantelis and Mrs Anna were beyond wonderful. They treated us like family even though they had only met us for the first time. The house was perfect for our stay and a short walk to the Plateia. The check in was easy and wi-fi worked great. They even had their own olive oil in the house for us to use. They surprised us with their own oranges which we squeezed to make orange juice for the kids. The house has great air condition and each bedroom has its own fan. The bathroom showers are very nice and the washing machine came in handy for our stay of 3 weeks. Thank you George from Baltimore, Maryland USA

Location très propre et grande idéal pour visiter les alentours Sparte, Mystra et la plage à 35 minAnna et son mari qui nous ont accueilli sont très sympa et ils nous ont fait des gâteaux, encore merci à eux. Sur la place du village il y a plusieurs restaurants.
