This absolutely charming 3/1.5 bed/bath single family home is the perfect getaway. Close to the beaches, 1 mile north of the town center of Dunedin, and 30 minutes to Tampa International Airport. The house is comfortable, with 1 King, 1 Queen and a twin day bed. The eat in kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, and you will find all of the necessities PLUS in the house. For those considering a home office, the breezeway is fully enclosed, air conditioned and equipped with a wireless printer, wifi and a desk/chair. This is actually the best room in the house with windows on two sides. The garden area out back features a screen enclosed seating area, and an outdoor shower; Jim added hot water last year and its a really nice option. Very private and lushly landscaped. Less than two blocks from the front door is the Pinellas Trail, a 30 plus mile rail to trail horizontal park, for walking, biking and skating. Three blocks away is a little bit of old Florida: 80 acre Hammock Park with walking trails, a butterfly garden, kayak launch and frisbee golf. Oh, and a playground and picnic pavillions to share. The town of Dunedin boasts great restaurants and bars, plus the first local Brewery, Dunedin Brewery. Add to this weekly farmers markets and festivals. You will not be bored here! Points to the north take you right out to Honeymoon Island and the beach there, and ferry to Caledesi Island. Points south lead you to downtown Clearwater and the Capitol Theater for live music and performance art. Cross the bridge to the most desirable sand beaches in Clearwater or Sand Key. Golf courses, art museums and a delightful casual lifestyle greet you each day.

HOUSE WAS NICE WITH GREAT AMMENITIES. ONE BATH SHOWS BEING A TOILET WITH A TUB SHOWER COMBO. IT IS ACCUALLY A TOILET WITH A STAND UP SHOWER LOCATER IN THE GARAGE THAT IS WITHOUT HEAT. ON-LINE PICTURES ARE QUITE OLD AND THE YARD IS A JUNGLE WITH NO SUN LIGHT EVER. OUTDOOR SPACE CAN'T BE USED UNLESS THERE IS EXTENSIVE CLEANUP. LOCATION IS WONDERFUL EXCEPT WHEN TRYING TO GET OUT ON 19A (IT'S A BLIND CORNER SUGGEST USING OTHER EXITS). OWNERS RESPOND QUICK WHEN ISSUES ARRIVED CLOSE TO THE BEACH, RESTAURANTS, BIKING AND WALKING PATHS.

We strive to insure all of our guests are completely happy with their stay. Our sincere apologies if we fell short of the mark.
To be fair, we have presented the house as a 3/1 in the main body of the profile and a 3/1.5 bath house in the detailed description that follows. In the details of the bathroom descriptions, using a blue link, it says that the half bath is in the garage. It also states that in the photo caption of the half bath photos. I will update the details to reflect that there is only a shower, not a shower combo; thanks for pointing that out.
Our yard is xeriscaped and our characterization of the yard is lushly landscaped. There is NO grass at all.
We added pavers to the rear of the house, to beautify the yard and upgrade the rear area. The only lighting back there is via the outside light at the kitchen door AND the remote controlled lights for the gazebo. There is a note on the remote control ( in the kitchen on the counter near the kitchen door) for these lights. I am sorry that was not clearly presented.
The yard is very shaded by some older oak trees, that's a plus and a minus. The shade allows you to enjoy the back yard under cooler circumstances. However, in the winter those trees drop leaves constantly. To be fair, we raked up 7 huge trash bags the day prior to this guests arrival. We did not return during their stay. We leave a leaf blower and ear protection in the garage should guests enjoy clearing out the leaves themselves.
While some of the photos are indeed a few years old, the bedspreads, shower curtain and rugs are newer than what you see in the photos. Same is true in the smallest bedroom with upgraded furniture added. Time to replace some of those photos!
Thanks again for staying in Dunedin!
We really enjoyed our stay at your lovely house close enough to the Jolley Trolley route that we skipped renting a car. Roomy, comfortable, and well maintained this location provided a relaxing vacation experience. The owners were very responsive and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

I'm still not sure what mistake I made that caused this home to pop into my screen - I was looking for a condo, not a whole house for pete's sake!!. This mistake is my best ever. Happiness is the color of every room, the kitchen cupboard has enough staples and spices to get you started, the best ever beds (and pillows), gleaming floors, extra shelves in the bathroom, a make-yourself-comfortable kitchen, too. The writer's space is practical. I (we) loved this house. If they ever sell this gem, it's mine!

FINALLY, A REALLY GOOD RENTAL
This rental was exceptionally clean as compared with some others. Despite being close to Alt-19 road, the rental was mostly quiet. Our only concern was the inability to operate the TV remotes due to the complexity of the TV system. The two flat screen TVs were excellent.

Great spot in Dunedin
This was a wonderful place to stay for multiple reasons. The "hosts" were fantastic, responding to questions before arrival and to comments during our stay. The location is great - as noted in the ad -- very near the trail to parks and downtown Dunedin. The house accommodated adults and child: beautifully furnished inside and outside . Although hosts can't take credit for the weather, that was also first rate -- maybe it is the March timeframe?
We will most certainly keep this location at the top of our list for future FL trips. Thank you.

Perfect rental in Dunedin
Cant say enough about this beautiful home and the owners. Nancy and Jim were wonderful to rent from, we had to extend our stay several times on short notice and they were always more than accommodating. The house itself is very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. This cute home is in a great location for spending time outdoors as well as being close to restaurants and shopping. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you again Jim and Nancy!

Great find!
We had a great time in Dunedin. Pinellas Trail and Hammock Park , a few blocks away, offer wonderful walking/biking paths. Nancy and Jim are wonderful hosts and are quick to respond to any inquiries. The house is very comfortable, especially the bed in the master bedroom. The outside covered seating area is greatly appreciated on hot days. We highly recommend it.

This house is just right.
Just the right size, right location and the right combination of lived in and pristine.
I stayed in this cool, beach house for almost two months while working in Clearwater. The bike trail is a block away, Hammock Park is a great spot to spend time, and the gorgeous Honeymoon beach is a five minute drive.
This house is comfy and very well decorated. There are many places to hang out , both inside and outside the house.
I recommend this classic Florida coast bungalow home away from home.

About the host
Hosted by Nancy and Jim Manning
We love Dunedin for its laid back vibe, and constant array of things to do: festivals, farmers markets, breweries, or simply meeting friend at the marina for a drink at sunset. We walk everywhere, and enjoy all of the outdoor options in our backyard. We spend half the year here and the other half in Tampa. We enjoy golf at several courses within a ten minute drive, and heading out on the water in the Intracoastal or the Gulf of Mexico. We have been in Florida for decades, arriving here from Kentucky and New York.
Why they chose this property
This house has been in the family for about twelve years, used as a second home for most of that time. Since this location offers nearly everything you'd want for work/play balance, we relax here better than anyplace else.
Our favorite evening past time is to stroll across the street to one of the three "sunset" parks nested in our neighborhood. Friends gather here to celebrate the end of another day in paradise. Bring liquid refreshments to round out the stroll.
