Tiny House looks like something from a children’s fairy tale! This enchanting wooden cottage, set in unspoiled countryside, offers a complete break from modern life. Your only neighbours might be deer from the nearby forest or the bees from the beehive. With gorgeous outside spaces and a large garden, it is the perfect spot for guests to relax in nature.
The wooden house is built in the traditional style of the Bela Krajina region. Spread over 2 floors, the cottage sleeps 2 people in comfort. The main living area has a table for 2 and a large wooden bed. It leads to a partly covered balcony which is an extension of the living space. At one end is a dining area and at the other end there is an open sitting area with an antique bathtub where guests can cool off on a hot day. Back inside, there is a neat kitchenette equipped with a cooker hob, fridge and kettle.
There are several other seating areas outside, including a covered veranda at the rear of the house, with a table and stools, plus another smaller dining table and chairs in the garden for coffee or a glass of wine admiring the breathtaking views over the valley. There are two sun loungers in the garden which is over 1 hectare and includes an orchard of old varieties of apples, walnuts and other fruit trees.
Sleeping There is a comfortable wooden double bed in the living room with access to the beautiful balcony. Attic bedroom: There is a charming children’s bedroom tucked under the wooden eaves. It features a small single bed 160cm long, which would suit younger children.
Bathroom The simple bathroom has a shower, basin and WC.

Location The cottage is in the heart of the Bela Krajina region in south-eastern Slovenia. The area is famous for its vineyards and unspoiled countryside. For visitors who want to get out into nature, there are many hiking trails through gorgeous landscapes as well as scenic cycling routes. The Krajinski Park Lahinja is just 5 minutes away. It is one of Slovenia’s hidden gems with stunning landscapes, hiking, mountain biking and boating.
The historic town of Crnomelj is just 9 minutes away. This beautiful town is built around the confluence of the Lahinja and Doblicica rivers. Here you will be able to find most necessities in the local supermarket or smaller stores.
Ljubljana’s international airport is 1 hour 45 minutes away.
