About this property
Romantic Mykonian Oasis Suite with Jacuzzi & Sea View
Summary:
Tucked into a hillside overlooking the waters of western Mykonos, this gorgeous studio suite in traditional Cycladic architecture is a little slice of paradise for two guests! What more could two people need besides this romantic and chic space? Don't feel like heading to the beach? Lounge on the terrace. Come evening, enjoy drinks on your terrace while soaking in the unbelievable sunsets each night. In the distance, you'll see the Mykonos ferry which connects the islands to other nearby islands.
The Space:
STUDIO SUITE
The expansive terrace winds its way to your door. This new and elegant studio suite offers a lot more space than a traditional hotel room but with the added convenience of a kitchenette for simple meal prep, sofa, and double/queen sized bed - all in a stylishly-decorated space.
The modern kitchenette comes equipped with new appliances and the necessities for preparing simple meals while on your Mykonos holiday. (We encourage you to enjoy your meals on the terrace soaking up the views!) If meal prep doesn’t interest you, no worries. You’re only minutes from a variety of cafes and restaurants - although it might be difficult to pull yourself away from those ocean views!
This well-appointed studio suite includes linens for the double/queen sized bed and single bath. Additionally, we provide other essentials such as towels, hangers, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and, of course, there’s WiFi, television, and air conditioning. This unit comes with parking and private entrance in this cluster of apartments.
The Neighborhood:
MYKONOS
The Greek island of Mykonos is a popular tourist destination. It’s approximately 85.5 square kilometers, and there are about 10,134 full-time residents according to its 2011 census - most live in the town of Mykonos which also draws the most tourists.
Although known for its celebrity sitings and party-like atmosphere, Mykonos has something for everyone from an active nightlife to quiet, remote beaches and ancient ruins. July and August are its busiest months of the year when tourists and cruise passengers flood the island. The island is known for its turquoise Aegean waters and beautiful (busy) beaches. Sailing and windsurfing are favorite activities on the northern coast.
In the town of Mykonos, the pedestrian street of Matoyianni/Matogianni Streets with its white buildings, tiny churches, winding maze of streets, and charming shops makes a great outing. In the evening, check out Little Venice in the area of Charos with lively clubs and restaurants.
OTHER THINGS TO SEE
Church of Paraportiai Dating back to the 15th century, it the oldest oldest church on the island.
Armenistis Lighthouse at Faros Armenistis 846 00, is probably more impressive than the the lighthouse itself and includes a pretty drive along a winding road.
Aegean Maritime Museum is one of the most popular museums on the island. Its mission is the preservation, promotion, and study of the Greek maritime history and tradition.
CHOULAKIA BEACH
Choulakia Beach beach is a beautiful monument to natural history. This small and lovely beach attracts those tourists searching for a quiet beach. European laws prohibit the removal of any stones from this prehistoric beach. Its round, smooth stones are unique to Mykonos and not found anywhere else in the world. There are restaurants and cafe at any of the surrounding beaches.
Other Things to Note:
Dear guest,
We hope you are looking forward to your upcoming stay with us!
We would like to inform you about an important regulation mandated by the Greek government. From April to October, all guests are required by law to pay an Environmental Fee. This fee cannot be included in the booking price and must be collected separately before arrival, as stipulated by the Greek authorities.
The fee is:
€8 per night for apartments
€15 per night for villas
Please note:
This amount is not a charge from us, and we do not profit from it in any way.
Once we collect this fee, we pay it in full directly to the government as a tax.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to waive, reduce, or absorb this fee, no matter the circumstances.
Payment is required before check-in, as per Greek law.
We completely understand this might be frustrating, and we sincerely wish we could make it easier for you. However, we are legally obligated to comply, and without this payment, check-in is not permitted.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Should you have any questions or need assistance with the payment process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warm regards.
