Large, charming holiday home within walking distance of the safest and best beach on the west coast, as well as the town’s many exciting activities and restaurants. We’ve made an effort to create a welcoming space filled with art and ceramics.
The enclosed southwest-facing garden has a large wooden terrace that offers both privacy and shelter from the west wind. After a swim, you can enjoy the outdoor shower on the terrace. We love our sunroom – warm and cosy even on a rainy day.
Lærkevej 7 is a house that feels good all year round – on sunny days as well as in wind and rain. It’s spacious, with plenty of cosy corners for spending time together, but also with room to retreat. Upstairs, there’s a wood-burning stove in the large living room. The house is heated with district heating and will, of course, be warm upon your arrival. Heating is included.
There are bedrooms both on the ground floor and upstairs.
We do our best to ensure there are basic supplies upon arrival – coffee, salt, flour, sugar, etc. – and hope you’ll leave a little something for the next guests.
Three bicycles are available for your use; guests are responsible for keeping them in working order.
The house is the perfect base for exploring the nature around Thyborøn – ideal for swimming, fishing, and visiting museums in the town and nearby areas. Take a PUCH Maxi ride with a stop at the local pub Kahytten, and don’t miss the famous Sneglehuset, where we recommend their homemade kringle with afternoon coffee. Thyborøn also has a large water park for both adults and children.
It’s not far to National Park Thy – take the boat to Agger Tange or ride the local VLTJ train to Lemvig and visit Bovbjerg Lighthouse and the artist colony near Fjaltring. Note: Not for commercial rental.
