This 2 bedroom ground floor apartment set in a Victorian house consists of a large living room/ dinning room with a original victorian fire place. The first bedroom is a double and is on the ground floor, the second is a large twin bedroom on the lower ground floor. The bathroom and toilet has been recently renovated and is now a contemporary wet room. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge- freezer, microwave, ceramic hob,oven etc. This holiday apartment also has its own private patio area full of flowers, with garden furniture ideal for relaxing. It is also very safe for children.

There are many points about this holiday apartment that make it unique . It has a perfect location in a wonderful village due to its central location the apartment is a perfect base for sight seeing the Kent coast.
It has been recently renovated to a very high standard. This holiday accommodation is completely wheelchair accessible and has been design in such a way that makes it stylish and usable to all.

Charming property, roomy and comfortable

Lovely flat, charming decor. Beds, furniture and layout all very comfortable. Kitchen well-appointed, easy to work in and all in good working order. Lots of room. Courtyard is nice. We had a fabulous time. Seaside, shopping and a couple good restaurants all in easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment well equipped fab location, everything we wanted. Would use it again. Owners very accommodating. Only criticism is towels are very small. If bigger than a 12 take your own. Thanks Mandy

Happy Days

Accommodation was splendid and spacious. Everything you could need for a trip to the seaside. Anna is a great host and nothing was to much trouble. Westgate is a lovely base when visiting Broadstairs, Whitstable, Margate etc. Although Westgate itself should not be overlooked. It has a great beach, several nice restaurants and a wonderful vintage cinema. Great holiday, we will be back!

Sehr komplikationsloser Buchungsvorgang. Es erfolgte eine schnelle Kontaktaufnahme durch die Vermieterin. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Sehr sauber . Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit telefonisch an Anna wenden. Eine bezaubernde Umgebung und ein sehr schöner Strand laden zum Wiederkommen ein. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!

Fantastische 5-Sterne Wohnung

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in Annas Wohnung. Ich habe selten so liebevoll und ästhetisch eingerichtete Zimmer gesehen. Die Wahl der Farben, Stoffe und der Dekoration ist einfach umwerfend! Alles war so, als wäre es nicht für Gäste sondern für sich selbst eingerichtet. Die Lage in Westgate-on-Sea ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben: Man ist innerhalb kürzester Zeit am Strand oder bei Shops aller Art und wenn man möchte auch in zwei Minuten am Bahnhof. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es fehlte an nichts. Auch für Kinder und Hunde ist die Wohnung uneingeschränkt geeignet. Allerdings sind alle Strände in der Umgebung nur bis 10 Uhr und ab 18 Uhr für Hunde freigegeben; das kannten wir von Cornwall und Wales anders. Wir werden bei Gelegenheit gerne wiederkommen!

Schöne, gemütliche Wohnung - zentral gelegen

Wir (2 Erwachsende, 2 Kinder) haben eine Woche im Portland House verbracht. Die Wohnung bot alles was man so im Alltag braucht. Durch die zentrale Lage war es nur ein Katzensprung zum Supermarkt, zum Bahnhof, zum Take away, zum Kino etc. Die Anbindung an London war super, nur 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Zug bis Victoria Station. Einzig die Hellhörigkeit und das nur 1,40m breite Ehebett hat etwas gestört. Ansonsten hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Region Kent mit seinen schönen Städtchen (Rye, Canterbury etc.) und den tollen Burgen (Walmer und Dover Castle).

We came to Westgate On Sea to visit family who live in the area. From start to finish communication from Anna was great. On arrival we were greated by Claire who was so welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The flat itself was lovely,very homely with everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. I particularly loved the interior which made you feel relaxed from day one. Great location for us as a family which meant we could see parents,children and grandchildren very easily. Westgate On Sea has certainly grown on me, from living here 15 years ago as a young girl to coming back and visiting I can really see the appeal now...love it and we will be back x

Great property!

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Our family of 4 had plenty of room and really appreciated the personal touches and stylish decor that gave the property a quirky and cosy feel. Anna and Clare were exceptionally helpful and quick to respond to our queries. We would definitely return and thoroughly recommend Sands Apartment.

Lovely Apartment, very good location

The Apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. It is very convenient for both the lovely beach and the local shops and station. It is also very easy to get to all the local attractions such as the Turner etc. The Apartment is very well equipped and it was great to be able to invite friends and family living locally to visit. The outside walled patio is really nice to have and both my little dog and I enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine. Anna and Clare are both lovely and very helpful. Schön eingerichtetes Ferienaparment

Geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtetes Ferienapartment mit einer kleinen aber netten Sitzgelegenheit hinter dem Haus. Alle wichtigen Geschäfte wie kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker, Kino, Bahnhof, Cafes etc. sind direkt um die Ecke und helfen den Urlaub unkompliziert ohne viel Fahrerei zu genießen. Der Fußweg bis zum Meer beträgt mal eben knapp 5 Minuten. Durch den Bahnhof gute direkt Anbindung Richtung London. Buslinie am Bahnof fährt ebenfalls direkt Richtung Canterbury oder Margate.

Leuk huis, vlakbij het station en een winkelcentrum (stel daar niet te veel van voor, het is maar een klein plaatsje). Alles wat je nodig bent in een huis is er en ook nog eens in prima staat. Rustige buurt en toch vlakbij wat winkeltjes (incl. een prima supermarkt). De trein naar Londen is bijna 23 pond en kids reizen voor half geld. Uitstappen in hartje London, Victoria. Naast Londen is Canterbury de moeite waard, prachtige winkelstad. Heel veel leuke winkelstraatjes met kleine winkeltjes zijn er maar ook de grote winkelketens zijn volop aanwezig. Voor ons was het gezien de prijs, zeker 5 sterren waard.

Nettes Urlaubsdomizil

Mit Liebe eingerichtete, saubere und mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr warmherzig und mit einem netten Willkommensgruß empfangen. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit per Mail zu erreichen und hat alle unsere Fragen jedes Mal sofort und sehr freundlich beantwortet. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und werden möglicherweise auch selbst erneut darauf zurückkommen!!!
