Ideal location for the price, ESPECIALLY if you have a car

The actual location and home is quite comfortable and in a good neighborhood. The room we stayed in was quite large with a balcony overlooking the garden, and the shared bathroom that was right next to our room was also quite spacious. Coffee and breakfast was always available to us by Matteo at whatever time we woke up. Our stay happened to coincide with the HUGE rainstorm that literally destroyed roads and flooded buildings overnight, and parts of the B&B were affected (not our room). Matteo and his companion still were as hospitable as they could be while trying to tend the emergency. There is nothing they could've done to prevent the water damage done to their property, and I hope the best for them. Side note: We got into Bérgamo by train around 11pm on a Saturday night and it was difficult to catch a bus or taxi to the property. We ended up calling and Uber and even the driver wasn't familiar with the train line construction going on in the area. The B&B is also not quite walking distance if you have any sort of luggage, even a small one. However, if you have your own vehicle, or don't mind calling for a private car, it really is a nice place to stay, and I would definitely return the next time I'm driving through!
