About this property

Super King Ensuite Duplex with Roof Terrace, Central, Great Public Transport

It's a duplex - or even a triplex - with its own front door.
Bedroom and 2 bathrooms are on the first floor.
The bed is a 6' (180 cm) super kingsize bed with 2 bedside tables. The bedroom has a dressing table with 6 small drawers and cupboard with shelf and hanging rail.
One bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom; it has a bath, shower over the bath, basin, toilet, towel rail, washing machine, dryer
Bathroom 2 is a shower room, with toilet and basin

The living area and roof terrace are on the 2nd floor: the kitchenette is small but has everything you need for cooking and dishwasher.
There is a dining table, large corner sofa, bookshelves, TV and double doors onto the roof terrace.

Eat and drink superbly!
For household and food shopping the area has everything! A flagship Sainsbury's very close by, Waitrose, Tesco Express, and Marks and Spencer in the new Battersea Power Station development.
There is a wonderful, independent Portuguese fish shop 15 minutes walk away - it also sells very nice vegetables.
The 'best restaurant in South London' Brunswick House is 15 minutes walk or a short bus ride - a must visit even if only for a drink.
There are loads of other restaurants and gastro pubs... just ask me!

London at your fingertips!
For transport there are numerous buses at the closest bus stop on Wandsworth Road (87, 77, 196, 452) and Nine Elms Tube Station (Northern Line) is 5 minutes walk. Vauxhall and Stockwell tube stations are 20 and 10 minutes walk respectively (Victoria Line). Vauxhall can also be easily reached by all the buses listed above. There is also an overground station at Vauxhall and another one at Wandsworth Road. Clapham Junction is easily reached on the 87 bus.

Shopping!
You will find gifts, fashion - loads of restaurants - and anything else beyond your wildest dreams is in the new Battersea Power Station development. Apparently the Zara is the biggest outside Spain. Depending on time of year, it also has many other attractions - ice skating, dancing etc....

Everything else London has to offer is easily reached - theatre-land, South Bank....and so on...

Hi - this is our home - we love travelling and we like to offer it to others when we are away. We have 3 grown up sons and a very old dog (he won't be around when you're here)....

Why they chose this property

We chose Nine Elms because of the fabulous transport links - being in London is about getting out and about to see as much as possible. Also the area has so much going in terms of development - we've watched Battersea Power Station rise up from the disused shell it used to be...

What makes this property unique

Our property is an old railway workers cottage built in 1890 - the roof terrace is where they used to keep the chickens!
