About this property

Living according to Nature, with comforts, 2 steps from the center & the highway

CasalPiano awaits you! An elegant and typical Umbrian country farmhouse made in tufa, a local volcanic stone that characterizes the entire territory of Orvieto. Just 2 kms from the Cathedral of Orvieto and 3 kms from the highway, CasalPiano is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, many varieties of trees, and a rich vegetable garden.
Comfortable and spacious ROOMS await you for a relaxing stay. The decor of each reflect the territory, with furniture made by local artisans. Serena and Simone will welcome you with passion and professionalism. At CasalPiano you will rediscover the pleasure of true relaxation, surrounded by the sounds of nature, the beauty of a fertile countryside, and the taste of its excellences such as extra virgin olive oil and wine. Here you will have the opportunity to relax in the whirl pool/jacuzzi among the olive trees, get involved in guided tastings held by Serena (the owner and sommelier), or enjoy a panoramic picnic on the hillside which offers a view of the Orvieto cliff.

Serena and Simone were the perfect hosts. They have built a beautiful home for themselves and guests in a farming community. Serena guided us through 2 days of touring the area with great suggestions for visiting Orvieto, riding through beautiful country mountains and exploring Montepulciano and other nearby cities. Accommodations are perfect. The rooms are lovely and we had everything we needed and more. The restoration of the interiors are amazing. I cannot say enough about our visit! We actually added an extra day here as we were not ready to say goodbye.
