About the host
Hosted by Sally Kennedy
I am from Maybole and have lived on the family farm all my life. I really enjoy sharing this little bit of Scotland with guests.
Why they chose this property
I enjoy showcasing Ayrshire it's a hidden part of Scotland that is well worth exploring. We have rolling hills, easy walks and coastal paths. Cyclists, swimmers, golfers, paddlers there really is something for everyone. If country parks and castles are your thing we have them nearby. Glasgow is only an hour away and we have great bus and train links if you don't want to drive. The islands of Arran and Cumbrae (Millport) are a short ferry trip across the Firth of Clyde.
What makes this property unique
Our Wee Shepherd's Hut has been custom built to provide all you need for a short break. We have placed it to take advantage of the best views in Ayrshire (okay I may be a wee bit biased). The field in front of the hut has sheep, cows, calves a horse and donkeys. It's all happening! There's outside seating and a firepit to make the most of summer nights and to get even closer to the surroundings.
