The Space:

Guests enter the cottage into the living room, a calm and airy space adorned with characterful wooden beams and a log burner, perfect for cosying up in front of after a long day’s adventure.

Through the living room is the kitchen, with a breakfast bar perfect for enjoying the first hot drink of the day. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven and electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher – everything even the most ambitious of chefs would need to rustle up a hearty and nourishing meal.

There is also a family bathroom located on the ground floor of the property, complete with a large shower.

Upstairs, guests have access to a study with a desk and chair, perfect for remote working.

The master bedroom is furnished with a kingsize zip and link bed, which can also be split into two twin beds, providing a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the unique requirements of your party.

To the rear of the property, guests have access to a private courtyard complete with a barbecue, wooden bistro dining set and charming wood-fired two-person hot tub.

There is on street parking available just outside the property. We are able to welcome one well-behaved dog at this home (fees apply).

The Neighborhood:

The village of Woodhouse Eaves has 4 pubs, including The Wheatsheaf Inn, as well as a village store, boutique shops and a delicatessen. Bradgate Park, with its free roaming deer and rolling hills, is the perfect location for long walks and summer picnics.

There are two golf courses within a 5-minute drive, Charnwood Forest, Leicestershire’s oldest golf course and Lingdale Golf Club.

The Great Central Railway, with its full-sized steam trains, has stations in neighbouring Quorn and Rothley and hosts regular events throughout the year. The cities of Leicester, Derby and Nottingham are all within a 30 minute drive and East Midlands Airport is just 20 minutes away.
