The Federici Tower is a historic building located in the municipality of Esine. It has belonged to the Federici family since 1200, the year it was built. To enter the historic complex, one passes through a Simona stone portal and arrives in a large quadrangular courtyard. The tower’s walls are made of stone and feature a few asymmetrically placed windows. The tower is shorter than the original, though the reasons for this remain unknown. It currently stands 18.58 metres tall. From 2013 to 2015, the tower and the adjacent house that house the B&B underwent a major restoration that restored the buildings to their former splendour. Since 2015, La Torre has been home to our extended family—Rachele, Alessandro, and our six children—all of whom are eager and proud to share their space with others.
The property is located in the town of Esine, where you can visit the Church of Santa Maria, famous for its frescoes by the painter Pietro da Cemmo; to broaden your horizons, you can enjoy beautiful walks along the Grigna stream or cycle to Bienno, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. There’s also the opportunity for a lovely hike along the mountain trails during the summer season, and the property is close to the most renowned ski resorts in the Camonica Valley
Languages spoken:
English, Spanish, French, Italian
