Beautifully situated cottage.

Beautifully situated cottage. Very quiet and peaceful. Only issue was where the television was situated. Whilst only watching for a couple of hours in the evening, it would have been better situated in the main lounge area where there are two settees, especially if there are more than two people staying.Short walk to the Kildonan hotel with beautiful views overlooking the sea.

Castleside Croft is in an idyllic location, beside a ruined castle and at the top of a cliff a short walk down to a secluded beach. The cottage is freshly decorated and very comfortable, and sits in an attractive enclosed garden. The negative points are maintenance issues which I’m sure have been previously mentioned. Parking - narrow entrance to get access into parking space.Lock on door between utility room/ kitchen is very tricky.Step from utility room into kitchen is steep and unmarked. Possibility of causing an injury. Main bathroom- stopper in sink is faulty. Toilet does not flush well.
