About the host
Hosted by David Jessop
Hello! We’re Louise and David, and in 2022 we were mad enough to buy a Grade II listed little thatched cottage in need of a *lot* of work.
We moved in at the beginning of 2023 and began a lifelong project of restoring the cottage and garden. It’s still very much a work in progress, so please excuse us if it’s looking a bit scruffy around the edges!
We’re thrilled that you chose to stay with us - every stay in the hut helps support our work. Thank you!
Why they chose this property
Histon is a thriving community with a quaint village feel, but only a stone's throw from central Cambridge.
