The property was rather run down. There was a lot of stuff that needs improvement including a broken shade in the upstairs bathroom, no shade in the downstairs bathroom, disconnected slats in the bedframe in one of the bedrooms, TV remote with dead batteries, lamps missing the knobs to turn them on and off, missing bulbs in some of those same lights, no outside light in the back of the house, disconnected door on a kitchen cabinet, loose panels on the baseboard heaters, and bedside tables that can be plugged in but aren’t near outlets. I reported this to the owner who asked for photos and any requests for what could be fixed to improve our comfort. After sending the photos, the only further messages were about making sure we took out the trash.
The house worked perfectly for us. We are three couples visiting with family and friends in the area. The house has three bedrooms each with a queen bed. Perfect for us. We arrived Friday evening, and gathered together comfortably in the living room area. On Saturday morning, we again enjoyed our morning together. It is a nice walking neighborhood with a bike trail nearby. There are also numerous restaurants near the house. This was our second time staying here and definitely look forward to staying again.
We stayed for one night and it was great for my family. Many bedrooms made it perfect to fit our large family. Listing was as described and in a great neighborhood. It was also close to highway which made traveling easier. Will return if ever in Hartford again.
Our family traveled to CT with our dogs for a soccer event in Farmington. This was the perfect spot for us. Plenty of fenced in yard for our dogs, and just the right amount of space inside for us and our two kids. Kitchen had most of the basics. Just missing (or we couldn’t locate) a cookie sheet and scissors but had all the other utensils we needed. House was nicely updated. Took the dogs on a walk through the surrounding neighborhood which felt safe. Within 12 minutes of the fields and many food/shopping areas. Able to wash our soccer gear using the washer/dryer. Did not really use the side porch. Access is from front door area and there is no fan and it is warm so we stuck to the backyard. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
My 2 friends and I stayed here for 1 night and it was exactly as described. The combination of window and split unit ACs were pumping before we arrived so it was really nice coming back after a hot day to a very cool home. The house was older and more traditional in design but was clean and accommodating. Would stay again !

A place to stay
This is a very old house in need of some repairs and updating. The dishwasher is broken. The beds are fine but nothing to write home about. There is a broken window in the sunroom. There was *just* enough bedding and towels available for a group of 6 people to have what we'd have described as "minimum necessary."Overall, if I had no other choice I would stay here again as it has a roof with a locked door and basic amenities, but I am sure that there are rental properties in far better repair which are better stocked for your stay.
Enjoyed one night in this 3Br property. It was comfortable, secure and easy to locate. Great parking, kitchen, tv and wash/dry facilities. Would recommend.
