The apartment itself is very nice and open. However, if visiting in the summer, all windows and doors must be open for air flow. Otherwise it becomes far too hot and uncomfortable. The apartment is located in a run down part of Zurich and surrounded by bars and restaurants. This sounds okay, but the streets fill with drunken people that scream, break bottles, and honk car horns from 6pm to 6am. Since the windows must be open, it is nearly impossible to sleep. The host does provide ear plugs next to each bed.
