Was wonderful having you stay with us and that you enjoyed it! It is a winter wonderland up here right now and the snowmobile trails have been the best that we have seen the last few years. See ya this summer for-wheeling and we would love to join you for some big lake trout this summer at Roubaix Lake. Let's take the Kayaks out......
See you soon.
A group of us stayed during a trip to ride trails in the area. The house is very well equipped and clean, and we did not find anything lacking. Plenty of parking for our vehicles, and the hosts were very accommodating. Communication was great throughout the whole process. We will return some day for another trip. Thank you!

Thank you Martin for staying with us for this years Sturgus Rally. We are so glad that you enjoyed the comfy cabin and shop to park your motorcycles in. Come back anytime.
Excellent all around, down to every last detail!! Loved everything about our stay and the hostess was awesome, even shared fishing tips! Loved the basement bar/gaming area best, so much fun for our entire family. We will definitely be staying here again next summer! 😁
We had a group of friend stay for trail riding. It was a great place to start our day. Jeri was awesome to work with. Everything was as it was described.
Very nice, the outdoor deck and game room were big hits in the evenings. My only complaint would be the owners requiring we give an ETA for our groups arrival then trying to verify it within an hour of arrival, not an easy task with 4 couples on bikes and constantly changing plans.

Thank you for staying with us Gary. We do try and meet all of our visitors for a quick walk through. Some guests have never been in the hills, around a well, septic and all homes have those funny things that come with them. We always explain our information when you book, via contact and contract. We give you 2-3 months' notice that we will meet and do a quick walk through. Our time is valuable, and we remain flexible for check ins. Gary, you did not text us back for that time and you changed those times on us 3 times. We did not meet you for a walk through. Fine again but I disagree that we requested a time an hour before as I have all of the texts from you. I am glad you all enjoyed your stay, and you were not all on bikes as you had a car at the home as well. I don't understand putting any of this on us and leaving that comment on us. We pride ourselves on above and beyond personal service as much or as little as you want. Stay safe on the road and I am happy you enjoyed the house so much.
We loved this property, and so did our two kids. It was within short distances to everything we wanted to see and do (Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, side by side trails, swimming, fishing, etc…). The owner was great to work with, and basically helped us plan our whole vacation. Will definitely use again if we are back out this way.

About the host
Hosted by Jeri Jo
Locals. Our families have been here for over a 100 years. We know every road, every trail and all of the secret & local spots. Avid & active outdoors-men. Grew up in Deadwood. Hunting, skiing, traveling, music lovers, dancing, 4 wheel, hiking, boating, kayaking, putting around, photography, family and friends.
Why they chose this property
Private. No Neighbors. And you have us as hosts. Central to everything in the Black Hills. If you want something close to the main road and not 20 minutes up some dirt road this is your place. Trust me, I know what a pain that is. When you are done with your day you want some convenience. No light pollution, sit out side and gaze at the stars. Home away from home. Fully equipped home that will not leave you for wanting anything.
What makes this property unique
Home is in the middle of God's country. Easy access to everything. Heart of 4 wheeling, hunting, sightseeing, fully remodeled home. Views. Nature. No neighbors, you know some locals this way and whatever it is that you want to know or do- Just ask us. We have some of the best reviews in the area. Everyone walks in and just says, thank you, thank you for such a great home away from home and they don't want to leave.
