The Malibu Retreat’s Music Promoter Guest House shares 3 acre estate’s sparkling pool, jacuzzi, clear skies, Mountain Views, fresh air, peaceful tranquility & hiking trails. across from the legendary Saddle Peak Lodge & just 5 m to Malibu’s Beaches, Pepperdine University & Calabasas. We’re nestled in exclusive neighborhood of Monte Nido-a private oasis & yet still so close to it all! Main House is also available to rent together or separately.

The Malibu Retreat’s Music Promoter Guest House shares the 3 acre estate w/ the Main House- including our beautiful natural bottom pool inspired by Tulum’s cenotes, bubbling jacuzzi, huge, natural boulders, fresh air, ocean breezes & a poolside fire pit.

Perfect for nature lovers who appreciate peaceful tranquility, yet want to still be close to it all! The famous backbone hiking trail passes right by our land. This is one of the few properties in the world where guests can walk to LA’s top 5 restaurant, where Entertainment Industry icons have dined for decades, at the foot of our driveway is The infamous Saddle Peak Lodge (& as a guest of TMR, you’ll receive an exclusive BOGOF drink coupon).
The property’s Main House is also available to rent together or separately.

Our Guest House is a huge converted garage office transformed GH w/ large living space & open loft sleeping areas for up to 9. The upstairs loft sleeps 6, w/ a high end queen bed & two new tufted twin beds each w/ trundles. Downstairs we have 2 more new tufted singles daybeds (1 w/ a another trundle), to snuggly sleep up 9 total (ideal for families, old friends or retreats who don’t mind sleeping close).

Important: ONLY guests in booking are allowed on property at ANY time (regardless of age, or if they are sleeping overnight). NO exceptions. we CAN host lovely parties & gatherings, but they must be sorted out & contracted in advance & they will cost extra in order to be in compliance w/ VRBO, local & state laws.

The Guest House comes with its own 2 onsite parking spaces.

Large living space equipped with an Amazon voice controlled HD TV with smart apps already downloaded and ready to be enjoyed by you. For music, there are surround sound speakers that you can connect to Bluetooth.

This lounge area is easily utilized as an open floor bedroom or sleeping area for guests using the daybed & twin trundle.
Enjoy waking up to our many one of a kind Gold & silver memorabilia records including: Coldplay, Maroon 5, John Mayer, Jack Johnson & more.

The Retro-Inspired kitchenette comes equipped with a full dining room table that seats 6, a fridge + freezer, high end delonghi toaster oven, coffee maker, a hot + cold water station (with alkaline rich living water) & basic utensils including bowls, dishes, mugs, cups etc.

One of our personal favorite parts about staying in the guest house, is the outdoor BBQ that you can also use for frying, alongside an outdoor sink for your dishes.

there’s nothing quite like making breakfast outside in the Santa Monica mountains in the morning!

Please note:
The pool /jacuzzi area are shared spaces w/ the Main House guests and are operated Resort-Style. Common laws of shared spaces apply which require guests to be respectful of each other in common areas (Ie no music or inappropriate dress allowed in shared spaces).
Pool hours are 8am - 10pm.

The Main House may occasionally have an event or gathering on its private areas/ estate grounds during your stay. If you’re curious, always feel free to ask.

If you’d like the pool or jacuzzi to be heated during your stay, this costs $125-$250 per day extra & requires 72 hour advance notice. Please request details.

Part of what makes this property so special is its immersion into nature- we share our land with many different types of incredible wildlife. During your stay you may see our local deer family grazing on the lawn, or the resident peacock. There are many rabbits, squirrels, snakes & lizards, raccoons & opossums, field mice, spiders & many beautiful birds. We do our best to keep all bugs out using natural remedies in order to preserve the land & a pest control company as maintenance. We are in nature, so it is still possible that they come inside as we are nestled in the nature. Some people glimpse an occasional bobcat, coyote, fox or mountain lion.
Please don't feed the wildlife but please DO enjoy them... and if you're squeamish, please consider all this prior to booking!

Guests have exclusive access to entirety of the Guest House interior, which includes an outdoor kitchen style patio with a sink and BBQ w/ cook top burner.
The patio leads directly to the Resort-Style pool, jacuzzi fire pit area situated between boulders that have been on this land for thousands of years and palm trees that seem to touch the sky.
Guests in the guest and main houses have shared access to the pool area & use of the lounges, floats and other amenities.

Guest House has designated Parking for 2 cars.

We often can offer in-house treatments & classes, including yoga, breath work, sound healing and massages. Please inquire in advance if you’d like to book a service.

We do our best to give our guests ultimate privacy to enjoy their stay on this sacred land.

Most everything you could need is included in the guest book upon your arrival.

If you do need anything, we are a text away & the may be around tending to the Estate & grounds.

In exclusive celebrity neighborhood of Monte Nido, The Malibu Retreat is tucked away right across the street from the infamous Saddle Peak Lodge & a short stroll from the Back Bone Trailhead. Equally distant only 5 miles from Malibu (to the west) & Calabasas (to the east). Our 3 acre property backs up to 10,000 acres of the parkland. Mountain views & wildlife galore!

30-45 minutes Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, LAX, BUR & Van Nuys airports, 60 min from Santa Barbara & Ojai, 1-3 hours from Palm Springs, Disneyland, San Diego & Big Bear. 4-5 hours from Las Vegas & San Francisco.

We suggest our guests have a car.
Your rental comes with 2 parking spots and an additional may be able to be reserved upon request.

Please note that we are located in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, surrounded by nature, and so getting around without a car can be challenging.

Pool and jacuzzi area is open from 8am- 10pm.
If you’d like the pool or jacuzzi heated during your stay, there is an extra fee daily fee from 150-250 to covers heating costs. Please be sure and request this at least 72 hours prior to your arrival or before booking.

While we love hosting productions, events, parties & celebrations, these must be contracted & reserved in advance.
No unauthorized parties are permitted.
We must comply with local laws & so there are no exceptions.
