Sea Grape Villa is a private waterfront retreat located inside the gated Old Bahama Bay Resort on the quiet western tip of Grand Bahama Island. Designed for relaxed outdoor living, the home is especially well suited for boating groups, fishing trips, adult getaways, and extended family gatherings seeking space, privacy, and direct access to the water.

The villa sits on a beautifully landscaped corner canal lot just 300 yards from the open ocean and features an 80-foot deep-water dock suitable for larger vessels. With wide water views, guests can enjoy both sunrise and sunset from expansive porches and patios throughout the property.

Outdoor living is central to the experience. Every room opens to a patio or balcony, and the private swimming pool overlooks the canal. A spacious patio and tiki-hut–style wet bar create a natural gathering space for relaxing after a day on the water.

The main living level includes the kitchen, great room, and master suite. A wraparound balcony provides outdoor dining and sweeping views of the canals and ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, and essentials for preparing meals, along with standard appliances and ample storage. A propane gas grill is available for outdoor cooking.

The great room offers high ceilings, abundant natural light, and comfortable seating for groups to gather. The master suite opens to a private balcony overlooking the canals and ocean.

The lower level includes two guest bedrooms with ocean views, private entrances, and direct access to the pool area. Each has its own bathroom with a shower. This level also features a casual game area with a pool table and board games, with large windows opening to the patio.

A detached fourth bedroom opens directly onto the dock and provides additional privacy for older children or adults. It includes a twin-over-double bunk with trundle beds and a full bathroom.

Guests have access to resort amenities, many at no additional cost, including the beach with hammocks, resort pool, restaurants, kayaks, Hobie Cats, and windsurfers.

GREAT location, nice big place to stay

I have stayed at many properties in the Bahamas on various islands. This property, like many others isn't perfect, just a few things: could have been cleaner, one bathroom needed to be cleaned like the cleaning lady missed it. Otherwise, property was GREAT. Location amazing. Not a 5 start resort but really nice and plenty of room for our peeps! Nice couples trip

Perfect weekend!

We had great weather and crossing. the layout of the house was awesome for 4 couples. Enjoyed the pool and location. Kitchen was equipped and the property manager Lavell was great. If we called she was there to fix or help us out. Home is in need of some repairs and TLC at this time but overall great home.

Fisherman's Paradise

Great places to stay in West End. Close to Custom check-in, Fuel dock and all the fishing and conch diving you can handle. The house was spacious with bedroom for all of the crew. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and spare bathrooms outside of the rooms. The kitchen/living room area was great for Breakfasts and Dinners. The dock and pool bar area were great for unwinding and unloading after a long day on the water. The pool table was a great night time activity after dinner. Definitely come back to this property if we come back to West End. Thanks Kathy for opening your home to us.

property in disrepair, pool is serviced once a week and the filter is left off during rest of time, lots of bugs in and around house / pool. looks good in the photos and was probably great for first five years. Great potential but needs pool and pest work and maintenance prioritized to get it under control.

Needs a lot of TLC. Grill had a whole in it. Dishwasher almost fell on me. When trying to loud and clean dishes. Toilets horrible. Had trouble flushing. I’ll say no more. Pillows horrible. No lounge chairs by the pool. Furniture they did have dated and old. All water in house tasted like salt. Coffee tasted like salt. 3 coffee pots. 2 broken. There must be a broken pipe. They told us that was not normal. 1 comfortable bed. Again the house needs serious attention. Do not recommend staying here. To May other houses for same price. Much nicer. We did love the cleaning ladies/ property manager.

Perfect Bahamian Getaway

10/10 Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Bahamas or West End. Very conveniently located to Old Bahama Bay and it's marina; just a 5 minute boat ride or a 10 minute walk to all the amenities that OBB has to offer. The house was very comfortable and again perfectly located. The house was very clean and cold, which is a must for me, I kept my 32' boat out on the dock with no problem at all. The dock space has water and power conveniently located on a pedestal just make sure to bring a hose and power adapter as is typical in the Bahamas. I saw on a previous review that the water tasted salty, .. that's the entire Island bring some bottled water.. The views from upstairs and downstairs were amazing, beautiful sunsets and boat watching from the top and bottom balconies. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets and pretty much anything you'd need to cook up any meal. Grill worked great for hot dogs and hamburgers. Plenty of space for 4 kids and 4 adults; probably could've fit a few more.. The most important part for me was the excellent communication from the host. I had a few questions before the trip and she was sure to answer all of them. Marvel (hope I said that right) was also just a phone call away if we needed a ride anywhere, even offering to pick up our groceries herself from the store. She arranged taxi pick ups and departures for the wife and kids and made sure anything we needed was taken care of. I will be back!

Excellent location. Lots of space but the house needs to be painted, blinds replaced, some pest service, add some stemware, replace the outdoor furniture and just general upgrades. Newer homes were charging similar rates per day. House could be unbelievable if the owner spent some money.

VRBO Double booked our vacation house

Very are unhappy that our vacation was upended 3 days before our arrival date. We rented this house very far in advance. We were (3) families traveling from Florida to the Bahamas by private boats. We always rent houses so we can cook our own food and have privacy. Especially during this time of the epidemic. If I would not have emailed the owner directly with questions about the property we would have traveled to the Bahamas in our small boats and had no place to stay. We were forced to stay in hotel rooms in Old Bahama Bay. There was no privacy, the mini kitchenette was not adequate to cook for 11 people. We had to eat in shifts and wash dishes and utensils so the next group could eat. We had to split one family into a separate hotel room which meant the adults were not with their children during the night. All of our gear had to be removed from the boats in the marina and carried upstairs to our rooms nightly for fear of theft. There was no place to be alone and it was a lot of work instead of relaxing. While the owner was nice enough to find us another place to stay, it was not what we reserved or planned for. We are extremely disappointed. We have used VRBO numerous times for group trips to Colorado, Utah, St. Augustine, and North Carolina. We wish we would have used the trip insurance we purchased and just requested a refund for this trip. The only reason we went was to not disappoint the children. I would like to be contacted by a VRBO manager at the earliest convenience.

The house was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Dockage was also better than expected. 50a shore power so bring an adapter if you run 30a. Left some personal items by mistake and the house manager has saved the and is shipping them to me. They go above and beyond
