Mayflower Holiday Home that comfortably sleeps 4 consists of:- A cosy lounge with 2 and 3 seater sofas with a private patio and sea views overlooking Lyme Bay. A fully equipped fitted kitchen/diner that seats 4 comfortably. Double and twin bedrooms with all bed linen and towels provided and bathroom with walk in electric shower,
The property is electrically heated by a fire in the living room and heaters in the hallway and bedrooms. Hot water is heated by hot water heaters . . A coin operated electricity meter is used to supply power to the property and is located in the hall*
The apartment is located at the top of the valley overlooking Dawlish and is a short downhill walk to the town and is within 10 minutes walking distance to the beach buses and trains . Dawlish is very pretty town is situated on the coast between Exeter and Torquay and is serviced by good rail and bus connections. The city of Exeter is 10 miles away, the long golden sandy beach of Dawlish Warren is 2 miles away and the bustling resort of Torquay is 12 miles, it is also only 15 miles from Dartmoor National Park
Parking is on road immediately outside but there are only 7 properties in the Close so vehicle movements are very few

My wife and I with our 2 children moved to Dawlish from Essex in 1978 after I applied and got a job in Devon
Why they chose this property
The job was in Newton Abbot and we rented a house for the first 6 months in Dawlish We absolutely loved the Lawn in Dawlish the residents were all very friendly and the schools were good so we bought this property and have stayed here for the last 47 years
What makes this property unique
The apartment was already being used as a holiday home when we arrived so we thought we would give it a go
