We enjoyed a five night break in this comfortable house with views to the tidal estuary. The house has local walks on the doorstep either along the bank of the estuary or on the hillside overlooking Penclawdd, the latter giving spectacular views over the estuary and beyond. The location gives easy car access to beaches and areas of interest. We particularly enjoyed Whiteford National Nature Reserve from Llanmadoc, Rosshili, Oxwich and Mumbles all within 20-30 minutes drive from the house. Locally we enjoyed fresh cockles and Laverbread from Selwyn’s Seafood Shack and beer from The Gower Brewery at Crofty, both just a short distance along the road from the house.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I stayed here for 3 nights and would thoroughly recommend it. This property is well equipped, warm and comfortable with off road parking. A few welcome gifts of tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes were well received :) The location is also beautiful. Friendly and prompt communication from the owner was also excellent - thank you!
Very nice. Would suggest adding a bath mat for the shower. The bath was very slippery and did not have a bar to hold on to. The kitchen was was well supplied except that there were no large dishes to serve the food from. Also would like more instructions on recycling etc. I was only asked to put out the black bin, but noticed that the neighbor had put out the green food compost bin as well so I went to put that out too. When I looked inside it it contained a lot of rotting meat, which I assumed came from the previous tenants who had not used the brown bin in the kitchen. We also found the front door quite difficult to open as once you unlocked it, the door still stuck at the bottom and you had to give it a real shove to open it. Apart from these few hiccups, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and nicely decorated, very clean, and well furnished. I would have given an excellent mark except for the items I have mentioned above.
Pleasant house in quiet residential area ideally suited for exploring the delights of the Gower by car.The house is pleasantly furnished, very comfortable and well equipped for self catering.
