Host provided good information for check in. He told us he would meet us at the property when we arrived. He never showed up. The superintendent of the building, which has nothing to do with any of the rentals had no idea how to help us. He is just the building superintendent and is not involved with anything to do with the rentals. The apartment was clean but the sheets were not clean. There was not any extra blanket. The one we found was dingy and had lots of hair. We washed it. When I swept the floors, they had a lot dirt. I didn’t mind sweeping and keeping it clean because we were staying there for approximately 2 weeks, but I would have expected a cleaner floor. The location was excellent and please don’t get me wrong, the apartment is very nice, but there are things host/owner could have done to provide a cleaner apartment and convenience. A microwave would be nice to have had. No instructions on how to use oven. the location is excellent. You are walking distant to a grocery store, shops, restaurants galore and Duomo. The problem with location is that a tram runs on the same street and runs all night long and makes thunderous noise. Luckily, I still had our ear plugs from our plane ride. The building is very secure. You feel very safe there during day and night. Superintendent is very helpful, but again, he is not involved with the rentals or any issues that arise inside the apartment.
